RPG_Gamers is a subreddit for fans of all video game RPGs from JRPGs (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest), Western RPGs (Fallout, Baldur's Gate), action games with RPG elements (Diablo, League of Legends), and discussions related to them. Subreddit in general revolves around discussion of RPG videogames, recommendations for new games to try, news of upcoming RPGs, and reviews of recently released RPGs.

No self-promotion
* Promoting your own content in any form is not allowed. This includes videos, art, reviews in external websites/blogs and any other content that you created or that you have a personal relation to (e.g. your friend's or from a website you work for). * **Developers are exempt from this rule. Check the "Developer/publisher advertising" rule instead.** * Offenders are subject to bans depending on overall activity of the account.

No Low Effort Posts
* This could mean a lot of things. * Generally, all posts should somehow either promote a meaningful discussion or provide information useful to the community. Any posts that are simply looking for attention, trolling, stating an opinion or worded very poorly will be removed at the discretion of the Mod team. * Posts that only ask whether or not a game is an RPG will be removed.

    * Submissions need to be related to Role Playing **video** games. * Completely unrelated submissions, posts about games that do not feature RPG elements and posts about tabletop RPGs will be removed. * No survey posts are permitted, they will be removed immediately. Polls are discouraged, they will be removed if no text describes the purpose of the poll.

  4. Guidelines for recommendation request posts
    Posts asking for games must include: - 250 characters (letters) of text. - A clear title (not something vague like "looking for games"). - A "Recommendation request" flair. If you want to get the best possible games, consider adding: - The platforms you have. - Your level of experience with the genre (beginner, intermediate, veteran...). - Aspects you enjoyed of previously played games. Common requests that can be easily solved by using Reddit search bar or a search engine will be removed.
  5. No untagged spoilers
    * Spoilers can be posted using the following formatting: ` >!X kills Y!< = X kills Y ` Example: >!X kills Y!< * Untagged spoilers will be removed, no matter how old the game is.
  6. Be Respectful to Others
    * Be respectful to others and follow the rules of reddit and reddiquette. * Obvious Rage Bait Posts will be deleted, repeated Rage Bait posts will result in an account ban.
