Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? Quality Posts
Share informative, interesting, or entertaining content that adds value to the community. Avoid low-effort posts, clickbait titles, and repetitive content. If in doubt, consider whether your post or comment will benefit other members before submitting.
Follow Reddit’s Guidelines
Adhere to Reddit's overarching community guidelines and policies.
No Personal Information
Protect your privacy and the privacy of others. Do not share personal information such as addresses, phone numbers, or any other sensitive details. This rule helps to ensure the safety and privacy of all community members.
No Duplicate Content
Please check before posting to ensure your content hasn’t already been shared. Duplicate posts clutter the subreddit and reduce engagement. Use the search function to avoid posting the same content multiple times.
Use Descriptive Titles
Use clear and descriptive titles that accurately reflect the content of your post. This helps other members quickly understand the context and encourages meaningful engagement. Avoid using clickbait or overly vague titles.
No Trolling or Provocative Behavior
Trolling and provocative behavior that incites arguments or disrupts the community will not be tolerated. Engage in discussions respectfully and avoid posting content intended to provoke or upset others.
Stay On Topic
Keep discussions relevant to the topic at hand. Off-topic posts and comments can derail conversations and reduce the quality of engagement. If you want to discuss a new topic, consider starting a new thread.
No Illegal Content
Sharing or discussing illegal content is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to pirated material, drug use, or any other activities that violate the law. Such content will be removed, and the user may be banned.
No sexual content
Posts and comments that contain any form of sexual content are strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, explicit images, descriptions, or links to external sources that involve sexual material. Violations of this rule will result in content removal and may lead to a ban.

References or crossposts from other communities are allowed when relevant and genuinely contribute to discussion. What the written rules don't show

Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
