What its rules say about promotion
No excessive self promotion
Do not excessively post any gifs/content directly relating your Stream or YouTube channel. It is unwanted and will most likely result in your posting privilege being removed. If you wish to share content, we'd suggest posting 1 item of your own content for every 10 comments/posts you share not relating to your content.
All 7 rules of r/shakesandfidget
- Be respectful to other community members.
Before respectful to other members of the /r/shakesandfidget community. Any abusive language, threats, trolling, etc directed at other members will be dealt with by the mods. - No excessive self promotion
Do not excessively post any gifs/content directly relating your Stream or YouTube channel. It is unwanted and will most likely result in your posting privilege being removed. If you wish to share content, we'd suggest posting 1 item of your own content for every 10 comments/posts you share not relating to your content. - No Personal Attacks
Be respectful to fellow posters – name-calling, rudeness, slurs, vulgarities towards other users, and trolling are not welcome here. - English only
Please keep your submissions in English to make sure everyone here can understand you. Also, the moderator(s) can (sadly) not moderate in every language of the planet. - Use the coupon code thread
If you have a coupon code to share, please post it to the stickied "Coupon Code" thread. If you are looking for one, please check the sticked "Coupon Code" thread. Please do not create new posts announcing or asking for coupon codes. You can find the coupon code thread here: https://reddit.com/136iymi - Follow the Shakes & Fidget ToS
This subreddit does not allow discussion of anything that is forbidden by the Shakes and Fidget ToS, such as using bots, sockpuppeting or account trading. - No obscured links
Please do not use Markdown to obscure links, unless you make it very obvious where the link is going or note the raw URL later. This also applies to link shorteners. This is important so that people know what they're clicking on. Also, link shorteners are probably one of the fastest ways to get filtered by Reddit's automated filters, requiring manual intervention for your post / comment to be visible in the first place.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
