What this page is
This page quotes r/Suno's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-06. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Suno's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

What its rules say about promotion
Songs Must Follow Title Guidelines
In addition to selecting your appropriate hybrid flair (see hybrid rules) Song titles must start with a genre, [enclosed in brackets] -- Example: [Rock] After your Genre - Your song title and/or a brief description of the song/vibe. Please note this means the title must contain the genre enclosed in brackets [], followed by a space
No Self-Promotion Spam (1 Song Post Per 2 Days)
To ensure everyone’s music gets a chance to be heard, users are limited to one song post every 2 Days. This includes Suno links, external links, or uploaded content.

ANTI'S - Posting
Self-described "Anti's" are welcome to post under the Topic flair. Just please keep your focus on critique of AI music, specifically. This is not the forum to discuss AI generally.
All 10 rules of r/Suno
- Hybrid Rule - purely prompt based songs are not encouraged.
To share your song, you must have done one of the following (honor system) A. LYRICIST: Wrote the lyrics, without AI assistance. B. COMPOSER: Wrote the lyrics and the heart of the melody through your own musicianship. C. HUMAN PERFORMANCE: Composer + your original human vocals and/or instruments are still in the mix. - You must select a flair when posting
To keep the feed organized and searchable, all posts must be tagged with the appropriate flair that best describes the content of your post. This helps the community filter for the content they want to see. Posts without a flair/misleading flairs are subject to removal. - You Must Give Some Context To Your Song Post In The Description, Minimum 100 Characters
Whatever you are comfortable sharing. Could be about your intention, the meaning behind writing it, the process, or even why you want to share it, instead of keep it to yourself. In the world where content can be created as easily as typing a quick prompt and clicking generate, aside from the HYBRID RULES here, why should anyone else care? - Songs Must Follow Title Guidelines

This community is for Original Composition and Restoration. We do not allow the posting of content that infringes on the intellectual property of others. No "Filter Bypassing": Do not share methods for bypassing Suno’s safety or copyright filters to remix protected works. No Unauthorized Remixes: Unless you own the rights or have a license, do not post covers/remixes of Top 40 or copyrighted tracks. - No Celebrity Likeness or Clickbait
Do not use images of known music artists, celebrities, or copyrighted brands in your thumbnails or posts. This applies to videos uploaded to the Sub, and on Youtube thumbnails, if posting a link. - No Malicious Harassment
We value thick skin and open discourse, but there is always a line. Extremely egregious behavior will be determined by a mod if seen or reported. - ANTI'S - Posting
Self-described "Anti's" are welcome to post under the Topic flair. Just please keep your focus on critique of AI music, specifically. This is not the forum to discuss AI generally. - Reddit Content Policy Compliance
All posts and comments must adhere to Reddit’s Global Content Policy. This includes no illegal content, no doxxing, and no inciting violence.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
