No Spam or Low-Effort Posts
Posts should contribute meaningful value to the Ghanaian tech community. No Link dumps, AI-generated filler, vague questions, screenshots without context, repetitive promotions and suspicious opportunities.
No Scams, Referrals or Deceptive Promotions
Affiliate links, referral schemes, pyramid schemes, misleading opportunities, requests for money, and scam-related content are prohibited.
No Illegal, NSFW, or Gambling Content
Adult content, piracy, gambling, betting promotions, hacking tools, and other illegal content are prohibited.
No Excessive Self-Promotion
Sharing your startup, app, blog, YouTube channel, project, event, or community is allowed only when it adds meaningful value to the discussion. Posts made primarily for advertising, lead generation, or driving traffic without genuine engagement may be removed. Repeated self-promotion can result in restrictions or bans. Promote less than you participate.
Project Showcase: Show the Process
Project Showcase is for showing what you’re building and sharing the process behind it. Posts should include some meaningful context about the build, such as the tech stack, challenges you faced, decisions you made, things you learned, or problems you’re currently trying to solve. Posts that are mainly product promotion with little or no insight into the building process may be removed.

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
