Duh. Self promotion for your racquet reviews/playtests is ok though.
All 6 rules of r/tennisracquets
- Relevance and Effort
Posts should be about tennis racquets or strings and related materials, like pro players setups, stringing machines etc. Simple, uninspired posts, like "Head or Wilson?" without further context to facilitate productive discussion will be deleted. - No for sale/trade/buying posts.
No posts which offer anything for sale, for trade or posts seeking to buy anything from strings to racquets to shoes and beyond. - No posts asking for damage checks regarding cracks or chips to a racquet.
No posts asking for damage checks regarding cracks or chips to a racquet. Clarification on damage is best discussed with your stringer so they can assess the issue in person. - No valuations.
No posts asking for the value of a racquet to be sold or purchased. Previous sale prices can be easily found on the Talk Tennis Forums, Ebay, Facebook groups and prostocktennis.com. - No spam.
Duh. Self promotion for your racquet reviews/playtests is ok though. - Don't be a jerk.
On this sub you must have basis for your claims. Educate others with kindness. Don't punish ignorance with rudeness. Foul language is fine but out-of-pocket name calling is not.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
