Can you promote on r/tonex?
No rule mentions promotion None of its rules mentions self-promotion. That is not permission: read every rule, say plainly that it's yours, and make the post useful on its own.
What this page is
This page quotes r/tonex's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/tonex's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

All 6 rules of r/tonex
- Be excellent to each other
Follow the motto of Bill S. Preston, Esq. & Ted Theodore Logan. Treat everybody kindly. Keep discussions on-topic and civil. Avoid drama or derailing conversations. - Follow Reddit's Content Policy
Enough said, follow the main Reddit rules. Or, apparently not enough said since Reddit has found users violating their rules in this subreddit including rules 1-3 and 7 https://redditinc.com/policies/reddit-rules Note in particular an explanation in rules 1-3 of the following will lead to a permanent ban and could have legal ramifications: Altered or fabricated content presented to mislead, or falsely attributed to an individual or entity to cause harm. - Content must be about TONEX
Keep the discussions TONEX-related. We don't want to share chicken noodle soup recipes here, as delicious as they may be they are also way off-topic. Keep it about TONEX, thanks! - No second-hand sales posts/discussions/comments
There are actually a lot of places where you'll probably move your TONEX gear a lot faster and at a better price than here anyway. - Spam free zone
Similar to the rule about all content being TONEX-related, please don't spam here. It will be removed and you will be banned. - Zero tolerance piracy policy
No piracy talk, no exceptions, for any reason.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
