What its rules say about promotion

This sub is for people looking for jobs in the UAE
If you are here to find work, share your background and what you are looking for. If you are here to hire, follow the job posting rules below. This is not a room for freelancers advertising services, business owners discussing strategy, event promoters, or agencies looking for clients. Wrong room? r/TechNetwork for tech talent and freelancers. r/UAEBusinessNetwork for business owners. r/WomenInUAE for women specific career support. r/CareersEU for European job markets.
No service ads, freelancer pitches, or "for hire" posts
If you sell what people here need, you are a vendor, not a member. SEO services, marketing agencies, CV writers, career coaches, consultants, web developers offering packages. All of it belongs in r/TechNetwork or r/UAEBusinessNetwork. Individual event promotions require mod approval before posting. First offense removed. Second offense banned.

What its rules say about AI and bots

No spam or bot content Same link in every thread.
Reposting something that got removed. AI generated comments with no real point of view. Flooding the sub to get visibility. All spam. All removed.
All 10 rules of r/UAEjobseekers
  3. Job posts must include salary, description, and no fees
If you are posting a job, include the role, responsibilities, salary range or compensation structure, and how to apply. Vague listings with no details get removed. Employers must not charge applicants any fees directly or indirectly. If you see a post charging fees, report it to the mods immediately.
  4. Post with substance. English only.
Share your background, your situation, your question with enough context for people to actually help. "Any jobs?" with zero context gets removed. Arguments, debates, disagreements, and unpopular opinions all stay up. Lazy posts do not. All posts and comments must be in English so the full community can participate.
  5. No spam or bot content Same link in every thread.
Reposting something that got removed. AI generated comments with no real point of view. Flooding the sub to get visibility. All spam. All removed.
  6. No scams, MLM, illegal activity, or employment law violations Zero tolerance.
No pay to join schemes. No investment opportunities that smell like fraud. No pyramid or commission recruitment traps. All members and employers must follow UAE employment laws including fair treatment, non discrimination, and proper labour standards. If something looks wrong, report it to the mods.
  7. No threats or harassment Argue all you want.
Disagree with any post, any comment, any person, including the moderators. That is welcome here and will never be removed. Personal attacks, racial targeting, threats, stalking, and doxxing get you permanently banned immediately. The line is clear. If your comment is about the argument, it stays. If it is about the person, it is gone.
  8. Keep it real No fake personas
No inflated claims. No sockpuppets. If you say you have 10 years experience, you better have 10 years experience. This community runs on trust between strangers. Break it once and you are done.
  9. Protect your privacy
Do not share Emirates IDs, phone numbers, visa details, or personal financial information in public posts. Job related details in a professional context are fine. Take personal exchanges to DMs. Posts with exposed personal information get removed for your own protection.
  10. Mod decisions are final This sub exists to help people in the UAE find work.
If your post does not serve that purpose, it gets removed. Not every removal needs a rule number. If you are unsure whether your post belongs here, message the mod team before posting.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
