What its rules say about promotion

No self promotional posts, asking for follows, advertisements or content created to generate leads.
Except for in our weekly UGC creator self-promotion thread, self-promotional posts, ads, + requests for followers are not allowed. This includes “hire me” posts, paid offers, communities, discords + tools. Content that is posted across reddit to take people into a marketing funnel is not allowed. No “value” posts that lead to pitches, DMs, or push people into a marketing funnel. Content posted solely for audience building or lead generation is not allowed. Repeat offenders will be banned.
Affiliate links must be disclosed and include personal experience or a review
Affiliate links are allowed as a way to thank members for sharing high-quality resources. You must disclose affiliate links and include personal experience or a review of the product, service or offering. Posts or comments that include an affiliate without following this rule will be removed and repeat offenders will be banned.

What its rules say about AI and bots

No discussions or collab opportunities that involve AI replacing UGC Creators.
Any brand or agency posting opportunities that require, encourage, or involve AI-generated users, reviews, or content will have their post immediately removed. This subreddit is for UGC created by humans. Posts that violate this rule will be removed. Discussion about AI replacing UGC creators is also not permitted.
No low effort and/or AI generated filler posts
Posts must be thoughtful, specific, and useful to the community. We remove content that feels generic, rushed, or created only to capture leads or redirect attention off platform. This includes AI generated posts that lack real insight, original thinking, or practical value. Creators come here to learn, network, and grow their business. Respect that by contributing content that adds value.

  3. UGC Opportunities Must Be Posted in the Weekly Thread
    All UGC opportunities must be posted in the dedicated Weekly Paid UGC Opportunities Thread. The weekly thread goes live every Wednesday and is pinned at the top of the subreddit. You must adhere to the guidelines when posting. Standalone opportunity posts are not permitted and will be removed.
  4. Adhere to Guidelines When Posting in the Weekly Paid UGC Opportunities Thread
    When posting in the weekly thread, you must follow the guidelines. The following is not permitted in the weekly thread: • Gifted collaborations • Ambassador programs • TikTok shop collabs • Collabs that involve creators setting up new/multiple organic social accounts Brands and agencies must be truthful when posting in the weekly collab thread. Misrepresentation will result in a ban. Zero tolerance.
  5. No market research posts (surveys, question, etc.)
    This subreddit is a space for creators to learn, grow and seek opportunities for business growth. We do not allow posts from businesses or individuals seeking market research. This includes surveys, questions, feedback, polls or solicitation for ideas. Posts that seek genuine feedback on UGC created by UGC creators is allowed. However, if the intent is to gather feedback for market research rather than improve the creator's own UGC, the post will be removed.
  6. NO UGC creator recruitment posts
    Please do not use this subreddit to recruit UGC creators for a business. For example, if you are an agency, you may not use this subreddit to recruit creators for your creator database. You may not recruit creators for email lists, Discords, Facebook Groups, etc. or a community that you have created for profit.
  7. Keep your post relevant to UGC
    Do not post information that is irrelevant to the UGC industry or UGC creators. Especially posts discussing alternatives to UGC. This is a UGC creator-first community. Irrelevant posts will be removed.

    Please be civil and respectful toward all members. Members who don't follow this rule will be banned.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
