- its rules on Reddit
r/UGCuniversity is a UGC education hub for creators who want to learn UGC, find brand deals, understand pricing, negotiate contracts, build portfolios, and solve real creator problems. Context is required for all posts. No selling or DM farming.
What its rules say about promotion
No selling, program pitching, or DM farming
Selling courses, pitching programs, funneling people into DMs, “message me and I’ll help you” replies, and client-hunting behavior are banned. This subreddit is not a place to find coaching clients. Affiliate links are allowed only when directly relevant and not the core of your reply. Selling and funneling behavior will be removed.
No brag posts or disguised lead magnets
No humblebrags, success posts with no lesson, lead magnets, or credibility flexing. If you share a win, it must be embedded inside a real educational post with context and a learning objective. Standalone brag posts or disguised marketing will be removed.
What its rules say about AI and bots
No spam or low-effort content
No copy-paste scripts with no context, generic motivational posts, vague advice like “know your worth,” one-line replies that add no value, reposted content, or automated content. Low-effort content will be removed.

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
