What this page is

This page quotes r/UTDRbutgood's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/UTDRbutgood's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Howdy! This is an UTDR subreddit aimed to be cleaner than certain two that aren't as clean or as small. Welcome to our sub and don't forget to be respectful, and read all the rules!

All 13 rules of r/UTDRbutgood
  1. Teenagers and kids are still underage.
You shall not post anything that sexualizes minors (real or fictional), saying anything remotely sexual about any underage person; It doesn't matter if it's "Just a joke". Sexual jokes with minors will not be tolerated. You also cannot age a character up to sexualize them.
  2. Don't harass another member
You shall not post an offense directed to a specific member of the sub, whether it is by stalking or offending specifically them on your submissions to this subreddit.
  3. No low-quality posts
You shall put at least some effort in your post. Extremely brainrotted posts, repetitive trends/memes that people have already got sick of and simple questions with the intend of karma-farming will be removed. Slapping two images one next to another and not doing anything more like adding a drawing or just some random text also counts. This, however, does not apply to memes you found online. (DOES NOT APPLY IN SHITPOST MONDAY!)
  4. Don't beg to be a moderator
If thou seek to be a mod, you shall not beg; either show us why you should be a moderator by presenting experience and administrative skills or wait for a new-mod-hiring formulary to open.
  5. No minor-simping
You shall not covet an underage character; whether you're underage yourself or not. You can selfship and stuff if you're a minor, but posting about how down bad you are to X character encourages older people to do the same.
  6. Always credit the artist
If your post is an art and it fails to credit the artist, it will be removed. Credit the author whether by putting a source on the comments or by specifying it on the title. If you're the author, you should also specify it. Even if the artist's signature is on the art, you still will need to credit, since signatures often go unnoticed by not being too obvious. If the author's signature was vandalized, the post will automatically be removed.
  7. Don't be a —philic.
Pedophilia, zoophilia, necrophilia, incest, rape-fetish, gore/guro and any other immoral and/or illegal kink content will be removed.
  8. No misgendering or wrong pronouns.
Even if they're not a real person, if you misgender them or use wrong pronouns ON PURPOSE, you're still doing bad things to a whole community. Can result from mutes, suspension, or even a ban, depending on the gravity of the situation.
  9. Don't harass a specific group of people for their traits
Any hate speech against any group of people (minority or not) will not be tolerated. Whether it's by sexual orientation, sex/gender, physical appearance, political beliefs (unless it's an extremist one), culture, nationality, and many others.
  10. Pro/darkshipping shall not be tolerated
As stated earlier, toxic proships, incestuous proships, pedophilic proships (and any other unhealthy ships) will not be tolerated. What is taken into consideration on this rule is canon age, and we shall not care about your AU's specifications, as they're not canon. Aging a character up to ship with another character or making them not be related in your AU still counts as proship.
  11. Pro-drugs shall not be toletared
Positive talk, glorifying and/or defense of cigarettes, alcohol, vapes and illegal substances will not be tolerated. Those substances are not only illegal but extremely unhealthy to a person. This, obviously, won't apply to positive talk about normal medicines; which are drugs by definition, but aren't vicious and unhealthy like the drugs stated above. Doesn't matter if your state or country allow it.
  12. Regarding NSFW content
Porn, or anything porn leaning like clearly sexualized media is prohibited. Sex jokes are allowed, and slightly suggestive things like clothes made to show more skin or suggestive talk is fine. But beware, be MODERATE. The sub is full of teens and not all mods are over 18 either. Gore and heavy topics are allowed, however, following earlier rules, and you must add the NSFW tag, as it categorizes as not safe for work, and put a trigger warning for the content in your post title. Be safe!
  13. Not even "joking"
Don't break any of these rules, not even "as a joke". We can't always tell when you're joking or not.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
