What its rules say about promotion
No Spam
No content that is posted to many subreddits at once. No accounts that repeatedly post links to the same websites (whether in posts or comments). In addition to account bans, outside websites that are over-promoted here may have their links banned also. Accounts that exist only to advertise a product or service are not allowed.
No Scams
No posts or comments that may be scams or include links to suspicious websites, user profiles, or subreddits that promote scams. Includes “get rich quick” or crypto schemes.
No Commercial Advertising
No posts, comments or accounts advertising commercial products or services. Truly free services may be introduced once. To qualify as free, the service must not restrict usage behind "freemium" tiers, and must not require users to create an account. Do not violate the "No Spam" rule. Self-promotion of articles you authored is allowed if on-topic. Use modmail to ask the moderators first if you are unsure. Ads on Reddit can be purchased at https://ads.reddit.com/
No Single-Stock or Single-Source Promoting Accounts
No posts from accounts that primarily post on Reddit about a single stock. No posts from accounts that primarily self-promote content across Reddit from a single source. Limited self-promotion of your original investing content may be allowed for regular participants at the discretion of the moderators, provided it does not break other rules. Use modmail to ask the moderators if you are unsure.
No Off-Reddit Chat Groups
No posts or comments advertising off-Reddit chat groups (e.g. Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) or soliciting DMs for the purpose of joining such groups.

- No Off-Topic Posts
Posts must be on-topic about investing in stocks from a Value Investing perspective. Off-topic may include (but is not limited to): Basic personal finance questions; Cryptocurrency; General business, political, or economic news; Company news with no investing focus; Currency/Forex investing; Technical/Charting; Real Estate; Day Trading; Meme Stocks; Penny Stocks; etc. “On Topic” is at the discretion of the moderators. - No Spam

No posts or comments advertising off-Reddit chat groups (e.g. Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) or soliciting DMs for the purpose of joining such groups. - No Low-Effort Posts
All stock posts must contain at least a basic explanation of the company or some financial information. It doesn't have to be a full DCF or investment thesis, but state what YOU like/dislike about the stock, don’t just ask other people to do research for you. Simple beginner questions about value investing are welcome. “Low Effort” is at the discretion of the moderators. Short stock questions/recommendations are appropriate as comments in our pinned Weekly Megathread. - No Personal Attacks, Derogatory Language, or Harasssment
Posts or comments including personal attacks or derogatory language are not tolerated. No repeated harassment of other users. We use Reddit’s abuse filters set to maximum. - No soliciting direct messages or contact info
No soliciting direct messages (DM), email, or other contact information. Doing this for the purpose of circumventing other rules may result in a ban. - Other

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
