What this page is

This page quotes r/WebsiteSEO's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/WebsiteSEO's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? 1. Discuss about Website SEO Ranking tips
You can discuss about your website seo optimization issues and fix them by advising from SEO Experts in this community...
  2. No links allowed
Any posts or comments with unwarranted links are automatically removed.
  3. Posts must be related to SEO
Posts must be related to search engine optimization for business sites, blogs, websites, even just adjacent. For example if the entire post is around PPC, there are better subs for your post.
  4. No spamming
No Spam, Self Promotion, Advertising, Brand Awareness etc including branded content, news roundups, posting how-to guides, community promotion.
  5. Keep it civil
We are all adults here. We must foster a healthy environment for all to ask questions and learn. There are no stupid questions here. Disagreements will and should happen, but as long as everyone handles it respectfully and openly, there shouldn't be any problem.
  6. No Soliciting and "Asking to DM"
No Soliciting and "Asking to DM". Asking people to DM you will get your post/comment removed and will likely get you banned after a few times. Please don’t do it.
  7. No Low Quality Posts
Posts that are clearly AI written, contain little valuable information or do not promote discussion within the subreddit may be removed. Also, repetitive questions, will be removed.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
