What this page is
This page quotes r/wowforever's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/wowforever's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

World of Warcraft: Forever, on Reddit!
What its rules say about promotion
No ToS Violations
Do not discuss or promote account trading, boosting, RMT, gold selling services or third-party programs that violate Blizzard’s Terms of Service.
Guild Recruitment, LFG & Discords belong in the megathread
Guild recruitment, Looking for Group/Players posts, and Discord or community recruitment belong in the designated megathread. Do not create separate posts or advertise in unrelated comment sections. This includes guild recruitment, LFG/LFM posts, Discord servers, communities, and similar recruitment.
No Beta Key Begging, Buying or Trading
Do not ask for, beg for, buy, sell, trade, or otherwise solicit beta keys or invites. This includes offering money, in-game currency, services, or anything else in exchange for beta access. Discussion about beta access, invite waves, eligibility, and the beta itself is welcome. Posts or comments attempting to obtain or distribute beta access through the subreddit are not.
What its rules say about AI and bots
Low-effort content & generative AI usage rules
Low effort content including but not limited to crossposts without any added value and purely unconstructive, negative, and gatekeep-y posts are subject to removal. This includes AI-generated artwork, text, or other content where the primary value comes from generative AI rather than the poster. AI may be used as an accessibility tool for translation or as part of otherwise original, substantive content, and to create utilities players find genuinely useful as long as it is not entirely AI-gen.
All 11 rules of r/wowforever
- Be excellent to each other.
We're here to have fun and make connections, so please keep things civil. Do not try to make someone angry, scared, sad or embarrassed. Hate speech and any form of discriminatory language or behaviour is strictly prohibited and will lead to a permanent ban from the sub. Forever is for all players, regardless of version, expansion, server, or playstyle. No version or group of players owns the game or gets to decide what is "right" or "wrong." Any form of elitism or gatekeeping is not welcome. - Forever only.
This sub is dedicated to discussion of WoW Forever exclusively. Modern and Classic Era have their own homes: r/wow and r/classicwow respectively. Content related to multiple versions of WoW and that include Forever is allowed. Politics in the real world are often divisive and polarizing, and as such any political content is not allowed. - Tag Spoilers accordingly!
Any spoilers related to unreleased content must be properly marked with a spoiler warning. This includes story content, cinematics, and datamined items. If your post contains spoilers, your title must be spoiler-free. Released content is considered spoiler until 7 days after release as to give all players plenty of time to access it and experience it first-hand. - No ToS Violations
Do not discuss or promote account trading, boosting, RMT, gold selling services or third-party programs that violate Blizzard’s Terms of Service. - Link the source
Blizzard posts, interviews and datamines need a link to the original, we want the sauce! We are currently not allowing content from Twitter or any of its mirrors on the sub, including screenshots. - No Witch-Hunts and Streamer Drama
Do not post to shame, target, or call out specific individuals or guilds. This includes smear campaigns or encouraging others to boycott or support specific people. When posting a screenshot of your game, please block out all character and guild names unless the post is not negative. Newsworthy posts about content creators will be evalued on a case by case basis. Videos created to stir up and perpetuate drama or feuds and reaction clips are not allowed. - Low-effort content & generative AI usage rules

Posts or comments attempting to obtain or distribute beta access through the subreddit are not. - Repost and Common Issues
Posts about repetitive topics, matters already discussed at length or blatant reposts will be removed. At the discretion of the moderators we may institute Megathreads or put a moratorium on a particular type of post or meme-of-the-week for a period of time in order to not clog the sub with identical posts. - English-Only Posts and Comments
As a Modteam we lack the proper tools to moderate content in languages other than English. As such any non-English content will be removed.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
