As in Mi Community, the mode of communication in r/XiaomiGlobal is English. This helps to facilitate discussion and exchange between the users in a common platform. Use [Google Translate](https://translate.google.com/) if you require help with translation. - Be respectful
r/XiaomiGlobal upholds the philosophy of Xiaomi and all users, including Moderators are expected to follow the same. Posts and comments must be respectful to others and should not, in any way, hurt the sentiments of others in any way possible. Hate speech, flaming, inciting violence are all grounds for warning/ban. Any kind of discrimination, nudity, profanity, racism and swear are prohibited in this community and violators will be banned. - Off-topic posts
All posts in r/XiaomiGlobal must be related to Xiaomi and/or mobile technology in general. Posts that are of political, racist and controversial topics will be removed. Comments that devolve into purely political and other off-topic discussions will be deleted and people in violation may get banned. - Spam policy
r/XiaomiGlobal is a no-spam zone. This includes off-topic contents and multiple repetitive contents that are not related to and are against the philosophy of Xiaomi. Empty or karma-digging posts will be deleted; regular offenders will be banned. Keep this subreddit for constructive discussions on everything Xiaomi. - Posting queries on products and services
Search the subreddit once before posting. If asking queries related to a product/service, provide enough context and necessary information. Multiple posts on the same content will be removed at the discretion of the Moderators. - Reposts from third party websites/blogs

Sharing of unreleased ROM links is prohibited. - No piracy and Content Quality
We do not condone app piracy and will ban any user posting links to APKs not authorized by the developer. Do not discuss or link to app piracy markets or websites posting pirated apps. Screenshots and photos must include context in the description. Example: a bug screenshot should include device model, MIUI/HyperOS version, and issue details with Report Id. Empty posts, one-line submissions, karma-farming dumps, or off-topic “photo spam” are not allowed and will be removed. - No unauthorized polls, bots or giveaways

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
