What this page is
This page quotes r/youngadults's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/youngadults's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Social media is acceptable just don't be a goof and share your phone number on the sub or home address. Use common sense. - Please tag NSFW media
Discussion is fine so long as it is treated in a mature fashion. Pornography is not allowed. If you are in doubt, just don't. Overly NSFW text will be removed. - Off topic jokes and comments in serious threads aren't allowed
Please keep serious things, well, serious. - No Spamming
No low effort posts. Your thread should open up conversation and encourage other users to participate. Including useless polls, sales, crowd funding, "looking for friends" posts, rage bait, copy and paste text from chatgpt and surveys.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
