$19.99 for you, instead of $49. Offer ends October 19.

Buy on your phone. Set up once on your computer with Chrome, a Reddit account, and Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Codex on your own plan. Your AI service is separate.

  • Reusable Reddit tools: connect Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex to your Chrome. Your AI can research, write, publish and follow up. You authorize the work.
  • Your included Launch Pack: a community plan and three tailored post drafts for one product. Emailed within 24 hours of your library claim. Claim it before tool setup.

Check setup for my AI and computer
Will it work with my setup?

Choose your AI client and computer to see the steps before you buy. Your AI plan is separate; ThreadFox runs locally through your Chrome.

Claude Desktop · install the extension

  1. Use a Claude Desktop build that supports local extensions. From your private buyer library, download ThreadFox.mcpb, open it with Claude and click Install.
  2. Start a new regular chat. Desktop supplies Python; ThreadFox prepares Node.js if needed. The Code view uses the terminal path instead.
  3. Add Microsoft’s Playwright Extension to your Chrome, sign in to Reddit, then choose Set up ThreadFox under + or type set up ThreadFox.

Linux: Claude Desktop is in beta. Confirm your build offers local extension installation. If opening the file does not offer Install, choose Claude Code or Codex and use the terminal route. Current Linux requirements.

Claude Code or Codex · use your library’s installer

  1. Install and sign in to your AI client on this computer first. It must support local tools.
  2. From your private library, copy the command for your system into PowerShell on Windows, or Terminal on macOS/Linux. Keep the full command private. It installs the tools and registers the supported clients it finds.
  3. Restart the AI client. Add Microsoft’s Playwright Extension to Chrome, sign in to Reddit, and ask your AI to set up ThreadFox.

The installer uses Python 3.10+ and Node.js 18+, or downloads checksum-verified copies for supported systems. No administrator rights are needed for the ThreadFox installer. Keep the AI client and Chrome on the same computer.

Use a computer to run the tools

A phone or browser-only chat can read your library and claim the included Launch Pack, but cannot run these local tools. The pack is a one-product plan and three drafts, emailed within 24 hours of your library claim.

Continue on a computer with Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex. If you want our team to run the campaign, Managed is a separate service.

Ready means: after the first Chrome tab-selection prompt, the tool check passes and your AI shows the intended Reddit username. Installing a client alone does not prove the connection. Keep normal permission prompts enabled.

Full setup steps & troubleshooting · Already bought it? Open your library

We used ThreadFox to find your Reddit thread. Use the same tools to find useful threads, check the rules, write posts and replies, and follow up. Set it up once on your computer with a compatible AI client, Chrome and your Reddit account. Your AI service is separate. Keep using the tools beyond the three included drafts.

How AI fits in. Your AI runs the tools through your own Chrome. You set the direction and authorize the work. It checks current rules, writes, posts once and follows up. Rules, account limits and AI permission prompts still apply.

We run it on ourselves. On October 13 it brought 1,143 people from Reddit to this site. What it brings you depends on your product and what you say.

ThreadFox browser demo: one test post and reply (October 7, 2026)

I make ThreadFox, a toolkit that connects AI clients to Reddit through Chrome. This is a controlled test in r/test for a product demonstration: the tool fills this text, publishes once, and reads the resulting link. One reply will test the conversation step. No customer or campaign result is being claimed.

Reply (body only)

This is the reply step of the ThreadFox connection test. The tool submitted this through the same signed-in Chrome connection. Product and setup guide: https://threadfox.vip/guide . This is a technical demonstration, not a testimonial or sales result.

“Use the weekly “Show & Tell” thread pinned in this sub for self-promotion (e.g. if you want to bring attention to something you made, such as a game, a how-to video, an article on game design, a survey, or a contest).”

Its conditions, word for word:

  • “Do not post job ads or sales here.”
  • “You may make a new post if you are asking specific game design questions about your game or are otherwise looking to spur relevant discussion.”
  • “It’s OK to include links as long as your post still follows the rules.”
and 1 more in its rules
  • “Use subs like r/inat for that.”

Other requirements in its rules:

  • “Posts must relate to game DESIGN (not just game DEVELOPMENT)”
  • “No blind links; always explain what a link leads to and, if not obvious, its relevance to game design.”
  • “Posts must be in English”
All 5 of its rules for posts, word for word
  1. Posts must relate to game DESIGN (not just game DEVELOPMENT) Discussion of game rules, mechanics, and their effects on gameplay. This could be for advice on designing your own game, discussing an article on game design, seeking the reasoning behind design decisions in existing works, and more. Pertinent links are OK, but please avoid posts that just redirect discussion elsewhere.
  2. Limit PROMOTION and JOB ADS Use the weekly “Show & Tell” thread pinned in this sub for self-promotion (e.g. if you want to bring attention to something you made, such as a game, a how-to video, an article on game design, a survey, or a contest). You may make a new post if you are asking specific game design questions about your game or are otherwise looking to spur relevant discussion. It’s OK to include links as long as your post still follows the rules. Do not post job ads or sales here. Use subs like r/inat for that.
  3. No LOW EFFORT posts This is not about length; short posts can follow Rule #1 just fine, while AI can generate long & pointless posts in a blink. Think about what you want to discuss before you post, and make an effort to give others both the context and the prompt to discuss it. No blind links; always explain what a link leads to and, if not obvious, its relevance to game design. No vague or unfocused posts, such as “looking for feedback” without a specific question.
  4. Posts must be in English To keep discussion accessible to the whole community, all new posts should be primarily in English. No language restrictions apply to comments.
  5. posting guidelines /r/GameDesign is for topics related to the design of rulesets for interactive entertainment systems - video games, board games, tabletop RPGs, or any other type. /r/GameDesign is not a subreddit about general game development, nor is it a programming subreddit. This is a place to talk about crafting game rules. >1) Posts must relate to game DESIGN (not just game DEVELOPMENT) >2) Limit PROMOTION and JOB ADS >3) No LOW EFFORT posts >4) Posts must be in English If you're new to /r/GameDesign, please read the GameDesign wiki for useful resources and an FAQ.

“Leave a comment disclosing your status/relationship to the game on your submission.”
All 12 of its rules for posts, word for word
  1. Be kind to others Disagreements will happen, but remain respectful to others. Follow reddiquette. Full rule details
  2. Post only appropriate deals GameDeals is supportive of many types of deals, but over time we've needed to prohibit certain categories. This includes mobile deals, betas, trials, free-to-play, crowdfunding, and lootbox bundles. Discounts on paid content for F2P games are acceptable, but links to the game itself with no discount are not. Games that are always free are also not allowed. Full rule details
  3. Use our title format Posts should avoid editorialization and use the following format: [Store Name] Game title or promotion (Discounted price/Percent off) For large sales events, there will be too many games to list. Please include some highlight games in the title that you or others may be interested in. More can be posted in the comments, or by using a self-post. Full rule details
  4. Avoid unauthorized resellers Unauthorized resellers are sites that obtain codes and then resell them without authorization from the publisher. These keys are often obtained from other regions or more dubious sources, and can contain region locks or even be removed from accounts retroactively. For more information on resellers, see our guide here. Full rule details
  5. Do not use affiliate links To cut down on spammy posts, we disallow affiliates or referrals being posted on /r/GameDeals. However we do make an exception for approved charities. To learn more about affiliate links, check our affiliates page and see our sidebar for approved charities. Full rule details
  6. No buying, selling, trading, or begging for games /r/GameDeals disallows buying, selling, trading, and begging. This is because we don't want to see the comments section turn into a marketplace, and instead prefer the focus be on great conversations. The second reason is simply because we don't have a trust system in place like /r/SteamGameSwap does. We ask users to use that subreddit for trading or optionally, /r/GameSell or /r/GameSwap. Full rule details
  7. Giveaways have conditions Giveaways should not be chance based nor overly promotional. Personal giveaways (e.g. a reader giving away a specific game) are allowed, but only in the comments for the relevant deal. For instance, on a Humble Bundle post, an individual key can be shared in the comments of that specific deal. In most cases, bundle posts will have an automatic comment left by AutoModerator specifically for these giveaways. Full rule details
  8. Always use direct links Please link directly to the deal if at all possible. Don't go through Facebook, URL shorteners, coupon sites or blogspam. If additional information is needed, please post it as a self post and supply more information. Self posts can also be used to post multiple deals together. Full rule details
  9. Developer and publisher-specific rules Leave a comment disclosing your status/relationship to the game on your submission. Include a brief description of the game. Stick around to answer any questions. Some disclosure examples can be found here, here, and here. Full rule details
  10. Storefront-specific rules To post on behalf of a storefront, contact the mods about becoming a rep. More information can be found on the dedicated Rep Rules wiki here. Full rule details
  11. No Bot Zone GameDeals is a human-only zone. Please disable your bots in this subreddit. Full rule details
  12. posting guidelines Please understand our rules before submitting. We disallow reposts (search first!), unauthorized resellers, referral links, and mobile games. For everything else, please use /r/GameDealsMeta.

  1. Only video game RPG content * Submissions need to be related to Role Playing video games. * Completely unrelated submissions, posts about games that do not feature RPG elements and posts about tabletop RPGs will be removed. * No survey posts are permitted, they will be removed immediately. Polls are discouraged, they will be removed if no text describes the purpose of the poll.
  2. No self-promotion * Promoting your own content in any form is not allowed. This includes videos, art, reviews in external websites/blogs and any other content that you created or that you have a personal relation to (e.g. your friend's or from a website you work for). * Developers are exempt from this rule. Check the "Developer/publisher advertising" rule instead. * Offenders are subject to bans depending on overall activity of the account.
  3. Developer/publisher advertising * Please refer to the posting rules found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/rpg_gamers/comments/1t3jdcx/developer_posting_practices/ * No crowdfunding post are permitted * The news must be a text post and should include a proper description, with details of what the game is about and official links * Don't spam your game in comments * Accounts whose primary activity is advertising their games are subject to removals and will be banned * Usage of AI in development may result in post removal
  4. Guidelines for recommendation request posts Posts asking for games must include: - 250 characters (letters) of text. - A clear title (not something vague like "looking for games"). - A "Recommendation request" flair. If you want to get the best possible games, consider adding: - The platforms you have. - Your level of experience with the genre (beginner, intermediate, veteran...). - Aspects you enjoyed of previously played games. Common requests that can be easily solved by using Reddit search bar or a search engine will be removed.
  5. No untagged spoilers * Spoilers can be posted using the following formatting: >!X kills Y!< = X kills Y Example: >!X kills Y!< * Untagged spoilers will be removed, no matter how old the game is.
  6. Be Respectful to Others * Be respectful to others and follow the rules of reddit and reddiquette. * Obvious Rage Bait Posts will be deleted, repeated Rage Bait posts will result in an account ban.
  7. No Low Effort Posts * This could mean a lot of things. * Generally, all posts should somehow either promote a meaningful discussion or provide information useful to the community. Any posts that are simply looking for attention, trolling, stating an opinion or worded very poorly will be removed at the discretion of the Mod team. * Posts that only ask whether or not a game is an RPG will be removed.
  8. Moderator Discretion Moderators reserve the right to remove content or users that, in our judgment, undermine the purpose or atmosphere of this community, even if no other specific rule is violated.

Your own Claude or Codex plan (Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Codex), your Reddit account, and a computer with Chrome for the one-time setup. After that you can start and follow runs from the Claude app on your phone with Remote Control (Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise): it drives the session on your computer, so the computer needs to be on. Watch the setup walkthrough.

What arrives after payment?

Your private library with the ThreadFox installer and connection guide. Connect your AI and Chrome, give it your business brief and let it carry out the outreach you authorize. Claim your included Launch Pack there: a researched community plan and three tailored post drafts for one product, emailed within 24 hours of your claim.

Will it post automatically?

Yes. Once connected, your AI can research, write, publish and follow up within the permissions you give it. ThreadFox supplies the tools and workflow; your AI client runs the job. Keep the required computer and client running for active work. Community rules, account restrictions and your client's permission prompts still apply.

What if it is not for me?

The kit has a 30-day self-service refund. Your free plan stays free.

Does this guarantee customers?

No. The demo proves that the tools can publish a post and reply. Results depend on your offer, the conversations available and how people respond. See our recorded runs.
