What this page is

This page quotes r/aicomicmakers's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/aicomicmakers's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

What its rules say about promotion

Share, Don't Spam
Sharing your work is encouraged. Excessive self-promotion, engagement farming, repetitive posting, or flooding the subreddit with low-effort content may be removed. Frequent posters should be contributing meaningful comic content rather than streams of individual generated images.

What its rules say about AI and bots

Stay On Topic
Posts should be related to AI-assisted comics, comic creation, storytelling, workflows, tools, production techniques, or discussion relevant to making comics with AI.
All 7 rules of r/aicomicmakers
  1. Respect Creators
Critique the work, not the creator. Do not harass, insult, or dismiss people for using AI tools.
  2. Stay On Topic
Posts should be related to AI-assisted comics, comic creation, storytelling, workflows, tools, production techniques, or discussion relevant to making comics with AI.
  3. Share, Don't Spam
Sharing your work is encouraged. Excessive self-promotion, engagement farming, repetitive posting, or flooding the subreddit with low-effort content may be removed. Frequent posters should be contributing meaningful comic content rather than streams of individual generated images.
  4. Constructive Criticism Welcome
Feedback, critique, and disagreement are encouraged. Personal attacks, hostility, tool-shaming, and repetitive anti-AI baiting are not.
  5. Respect Creator Rights and Platform Policies
Do not post content that clearly violates Reddit policies or is intended to infringe on the rights of creators. Fan works, parody, satire, homage, and other transformative creative works are welcome. When using existing characters, settings, or intellectual property, ensure your work is meaningfully transformative and shared in good faith.
  6. Mature Content Must Be Tagged
NSFW content is permitted when properly tagged and presented in the context of comic creation or storytelling. Pornographic content is not permitted.
  7. Moderator Guidance
Moderators may remove content that is clearly disruptive, spammy, off-topic, or intended primarily to derail discussion, even if it does not fit perfectly within a specific rule. The goal of this community is to encourage AI comic creation, discussion, learning, experimentation, and constructive feedback while maintaining a welcoming environment for creators of all skill levels.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
