What this page is
This page quotes r/AynThor's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/AynThor's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
No (Excessive) Self-Promotion
Clickbait videos and articles and/or content promoting products, discounts, or services with financial motivation may be removed, especially if it's being cross-posted across multiple subreddits. We welcome professional reviewers, but self-promotional content should account for less than 10% of your interactions.
No direct sales
We do not allow directly selling your AYN Thor in the subreddit because of the risk of fraud. Instead we only allow sales directly via verified markets.

Any applications posted or linked must disclose any AI used to generate the codebase, particularly 'vibe coded' apps.
All 7 rules of r/AynThor
- Be Respectful & Civil to Others
Disagree without resorting to personal insults and treat others as you want to be treated—follow the rules of the [Reddiquette](https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/205926439-Reddiquette). - No (Excessive) Self-Promotion
Clickbait videos and articles and/or content promoting products, discounts, or services with financial motivation may be removed, especially if it's being cross-posted across multiple subreddits. We welcome professional reviewers, but self-promotional content should account for less than 10% of your interactions. - Do Not Spam the Subreddit
Do not make multiple posts regarding the same topic over a short time span, and do not post the same content to multiple subs. For breaking news, do not create a separate post when an existing post already covers the same topic. - Keep Posts On Topic (AYN Thor)
Limit posts to topics relating to the AYN Thor. Posts about the brand or other lineups by AYN such as the Odin should be directed to r/OdinHandheld. - No Low-Effort Posting
Low effort posts are those that lack substance and fail to generate useful conversation. Examples of low effort posts that may be removed: - A video or photo with no accompanying question, editorial context, or meaningful engagement - Questions that exhibit a lack of research (let me Google that for you...) - Short statements with no context or explanation - Unsubstantiated claims or news - Reposts, repetitive, or off-topic - No direct sales
We do not allow directly selling your AYN Thor in the subreddit because of the risk of fraud. Instead we only allow sales directly via verified markets. - AI Disclosure
Any applications posted or linked must disclose any AI used to generate the codebase, particularly 'vibe coded' apps.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
