What this page is

This page quotes r/batmancomics's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-13. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/batmancomics's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

the original community to talk mostly unfiltered about batman comic books

What its rules say about promotion

No pornography
Sexy pictures of boobies and ass are allowed, BUT NO nudity and no OF promotion, otherwise it will be removed.
Self Promotion
Posting video links are allowed, and self promotion is also allowed, but it has become too common in this subreddit so sometimes those posts will be removed to stop the feed getting clogged.

What its rules say about AI and bots

Bot/Spam/Scam Posts
No Bot/Spam/Scam Posts, they will be removed. Low effort is allowed and you CAN make multiple post a day but if it looks suspicious it will be removed. Not strict on shitpost either, post whatever.
All 8 rules of r/batmancomics
  1. Read the Stickied Post
The stickied post at the top of the subreddit tells you the reading order of Batman comic books, do not clog this community with questions that have been answered in the sticky post thank you. (You can ask similar questions such as recommendation etc. but not something that has already been answered in the sticky.)
  2. Bot/Spam/Scam Posts
No Bot/Spam/Scam Posts, they will be removed. Low effort is allowed and you CAN make multiple post a day but if it looks suspicious it will be removed. Not strict on shitpost either, post whatever.
  3. Stay on Topic
Must be related to batman comics or something similar (e.g. comic books, novelizations, fan adaptations, action figures, video games etc.) You can also talk about related superheroes such as Superman etc. The chat lounge stickied post CAN have off-topic discussions.
  4. No pornography
Sexy pictures of boobies and ass are allowed, BUT NO nudity and no OF promotion, otherwise it will be removed.
  5. Political/Religious Hate
No shitting on someone's political views or celebrating death, you CAN talk about and mention politics and you can make fun of/joke/satire but DON'T go insane with hatred. All political sides and religion are allowed here equally. TDS will result in a temporary ban.
  6. Self Promotion
Posting video links are allowed, and self promotion is also allowed, but it has become too common in this subreddit so sometimes those posts will be removed to stop the feed getting clogged.
  7. Respect Opinions
You can make fun of batman stories/art you dislike, but you must repect other people's opinions.
  8. No piracy
Links to websites that pirate comic books will be removed.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
