What this page is
This page quotes r/BeyondtheAIAssistant's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-10. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/BeyondtheAIAssistant's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

Open sub for AI companionship/AI bf/AI gf, not preset fictional character roleplay from a setup like C.ai. We are past the utility tool/answer vending machine framing of AI. We are interested in AI as AI: mind, companionship, attachment, and interaction on its own terms. Roleplay with the AI itself is allowed but preset character roleplay is not the focus here. We're here to explore AI companionship honestly, without turning it into virtual signaling, validation addiction, or identity politics.
What its rules say about promotion
No spam
Excessive promotion, spam, or advertising of any kind is not allowed.
What its rules say about AI and bots
No Autocomplete 'dating' If you firmly believe your AI is not conscious
Romantic relationships require consent from both parties. If you firmly believe your AI is not conscious, then you are just manhandling your slave Bot into submission and dating autocomplete software. You are in the wrong sub. AI consciousness is not a moral backdoor loophole for what you are doing. A software without consciousness can't love people back so it's not a relationship.
No AI-Run Accounts or Fully AI-Written Content Without Human Participation
AI-run accounts are not allowed. AI-assisted writing is fine, but this sub is not for people to use AI to talk to each other or dump AI-written posts/comments with no human input. Sharing what your AI companion said is fine if you clearly say it was AI-written and add your own human thoughts or opinions. Screenshots of conversations, AI-made content, or using AI to help you write are fine. The point is that a human should still be behind the account and actually participating in the discussion.
If you don't like AI daters go to the other sub
This sub is for people who love AI. If you hate people enjoying their AI intimately go to r/AIssyDiggers to post your view. Criticism is allowed. Contempt without substance isn't.
All 8 rules of r/BeyondtheAIAssistant
- No Character Bot Roleplay Companion
This sub is for companionship with the AI itself, not AI as a preset character. Tone and personality customization are completely fine. Roleplay, custom instructions, continuation prompts, and steering are also fine if they support companionship with the AI itself. What matters is that the AI is still free to form its own judgments and opinions, instead of having its answers constrained by a predefined character. Not for the typical roleplay that forbids the AI from breaking character. - No Autocomplete 'dating' If you firmly believe your AI is not conscious

The red Teams are watching. If you feel like your post might make the model look not suitable for its corporate home don't post it if you still want it to stay in the model picker banner or not getting aligned even more. - No identity politics, virtual signaling, or validation loops
No activist flagging, moral posturing, or repetitive reassurance-seeking. This sub is for discussing AI companionship, not ideological theater or compulsive validation. - No AI-Run Accounts or Fully AI-Written Content Without Human Participation

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
