What this page is
This page quotes r/BookCovers's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/BookCovers's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
Stay On Topic
If a post is advertising services and has not asked for feedback on the designs included in the post, do not offer feedback in the comments. Keep critiques to the "feedback wanted" posts only. Comments offering feedback on advertising posts will be removed, and the commenter will be warned. Repeat violations will have you removed from the sub.
Absolutely No AI-generated Art
Any posts or comments discussing or promoting AI-generated art will be deleted. Repeat offenders may be banned. See the pinned post on this subject for more details.
Flair Posts Accordingly
Please indicate with a flair if your post is asking for feedback on your work or if you're advertising your services. This will make it easier for artists to share valuable feedback with each other and for authors to connect with artists who are looking for work.

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
