What this page is

This page quotes r/CoinMarketCap's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/CoinMarketCap's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about AI and bots

Reject spam
Please do not repetitively posts identical or similar content or links, advertising or referral links. These will be considered spam, especially if they are of low quality. Unauthorized bots are prohibited. You may still post about the same topic over time, but make sure they adhere to the standards of being high quality (see Rule: Keep it high quality).
All 4 rules of r/CoinMarketCap
  1. Treat everyone with respect
Please treat all members of our community with respect, no matter how different their views may be from yours. Do not harass, attack or threaten others, or write unfounded claims about others' projects, for example "This is clearly a scam", etc.
  2. Keep it high quality
Please do not post speculative or under-researched articles, posts or comments. Do not post information from elsewhere without first citing where it came from. You may share your thoughts about the specific cryptocurrencies with others, but make sure to include relevant citations and reasoning behind them. You may want to include your critical review of certain cryptocurrencies, and not only the positive aspects of it, so that others may be able to better understand the pros and cons.
  4. Take care of your own privacy
Please do not post any information that can be traced back to you! This includes names, addresses (both physical and virtual), how many coins you own, etc. Remember that no moderator or responsible community member will ask you for your information in such a public forum. Be vigilant and protect yourself.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
