What this page is

This page quotes r/Dreams's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-10. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Dreams's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). What its rules say about AI and bots

AI
We encourage you to draw imagery from your dreams by hand, but AI art / imagery related to a dream is allowed as long as the "AI art" flair is used. Just be aware that new memories overwrite old ones, so if you use AI to create images related to your dream they may overwrite the originals. This sub is NOT the place to debate AI. AI dream interpretation is NOT cool unless mod-approved. See the wiki for apps we like.
All 4 rules of r/Dreams
  1. Be kind
Dreams reveal the inner person. At r/dreams, we create an environment for open sharing of dreams and related thoughts and feelings. It's all right to joke and have fun, but always be kind and consider the feelings of the person you are talking to.
  2. Be respectful
There's a line between laughing with someone, such as when they describe a funny dream, and laughing at someone, which is disrespectful. Respect is expected including of cultures, beliefs, and practices.
  3. No politically or religiously charged commentary.
This is a politically and religiously agnostic subreddit. We will not tolerate berating or discriminating comments just because the content doesn't align with your political or religious views. It you follow the first two rules, this one wouldn't be needed.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
