What this page is
This page quotes r/eink's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/eink's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
For sale must include price, pictures and location
We see a fair amount of for sale items missing information. * Location Since international transport is quite expensive, and international sale can also cause tax offices to get interested, we require you to list the location (country, and if applicable, state). * Asking price We see a few ads without a price * Picture To counter false ads we require you to add a picture of the product in question with a note that contains your username, the current date and the product you are selling
Commercial/sponsored content
Commercial content must involve creator engagement with r/eink users. "Drive-by" commercial posts will be deleted. Sponsored content must be approved in advance by the mod team. Deceptive content with a pretense at being organic -- e.g. "look at this cool thing I 'found'" will be deleted. Second attempts will result in a ban.
Zero-Effort AI Content Generation
Posts generated with AI must be noted as such with an explanation. Clear examples of AI "slop" content -- excessive emoji use, "punchy" marketingspeak-type text, etc. -- will be deleted. Part of treating your fellow Redditor with respect is respecting their intelligence enough to actually communicate with them instead of thinking you can move opinion by having AI do it for you.

We won't ask you to play nice with everyone but we do expect everyone to interact with basic courtesy. In short, don't be a dick. - Zero-Effort AI Content Generation

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
