What this page is
This page quotes r/GenZIndia's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-11. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/GenZIndia's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). What its rules say about promotion
No Self-Promotion | No Spam
This subreddit is not a platform for advertising yourself, your content, or your brand. Do not promote your social media, YouTube channel, Discord server, website, merchandise, or any other personal project without prior mod approval. We define self-promotion broadly — it includes link drops, comment spam, or repeatedly steering conversations toward your own content. If your primary reason for participating here is to promote something, your post will be removed and you may be banned.
What its rules say about AI and bots
Low effort/Karma Farming
Posts that add little substance, exist only to seek karma, or rely on minimal effort are not allowed. This subreddit values genuine conversation, thoughtful questions, and meaningful contributions. If it feels empty, repetitive, or created only for quick engagement, it does not belong here. Some common low quality posts: * AI Slop * Social media links * Screenshots
All 11 rules of r/GenZIndia
- Be Civil | Be Respectful | No Rude Behaviour | Abusive words
Disagreements are natural, but hostility and abusive language isn’t welcome. Engage in good faith, avoid personal attacks, and don’t resort to insults, name-calling, or inflammatory language. Treat others with the same respect you'd expect in return. If you can't be constructive, reconsider posting. - No Hate Speech | No Bigotry | No Discrimination
This community is a space for respectful and inclusive discussion. Hate speech of any kind — including racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, casteism or xenophobia — will not be tolerated. Personal attacks, slurs, or harassment directed at individuals or groups based on identity or background are grounds for removal and potential bans. We are committed to maintaining a space where everyone feels safe and welcome. - No NSFW / NSFL Content
This is primarily a safe-for-work (SFW) community. Do not post explicit sexual content, pornography, graphic nudity, or excessively violent material. Such content and what we deem inappropriate will be removed. If your post includes material that is mildly suggestive, contains partial nudity, discusses adult themes, or includes sensitive or triggering content, you **must** mark it as NSFW. This helps protect users who browse in public, at work, or with safety filters enabled. - No Political Posts.
Political content is strictly prohibited. News articles, opinion pieces, debates, advocacy, campaigning, or content intended to influence political views are not allowed. This rule exists to maintain a neutral, respectful environment and to prevent divisive or disruptive discussions. Any content deemed political in nature may be removed at the discretion of the moderation team, regardless of intent or tone. - No Meta Drama | No Brigading | No Witch-Hunting
* Do not bring internal subreddit disputes, mod actions, or drama into public posts or comments. * Avoid discussing or criticizing moderation decisions outside designated mod communication channels. * Witch hunting, targeted harassment, or calls to attack users or other communities are strictly prohibited. * Do not encourage brigading, doxxing, or sharing personal information about any user. - No Self-Promotion | No Spam

* Do not share false, misleading, or unverified information that could confuse or harm the community. Always strive to provide accurate and reliable sources when possible. * Avoid spreading rumors, conspiracy theories, or debunked claims. Posts or comments found to contain misinformation will be removed. * Gatekeeping — telling others they aren’t “real” members, don’t belong, or must meet arbitrary standards to participate — is not allowed. - Use English | Add Translations for Clarity
To keep the community accessible and inclusive, all posts and comments should be primarily in English, which is the main language of this subreddit. If you include content in another language, please provide an English translation to ensure everyone can understand and participate. Posts or comments that are entirely in other languages without translation may be removed to maintain clarity and engagement. - Post / Comment must be relevant to the community

If they are not, they will be swiftly removed. * Some common posts that are **not** relevant to the community include: * News Posts * Face posts / Religious posts * Posts seeking romantic partners / dates / friends / someone to talk to * Posts for donations / petitions / research papers * Posts following popular trends - Low effort/Karma Farming

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
