- A Pay Rate Has To Be Stated
A pay rate must be specified, as unpaid, free, or volunteer work is not allowed. - No Low-balling on Payrates!
The minimum rate is 7 cents per word for entry-level work, 12 cents per word for general work, and 17+ cents per word for advanced work. Job offers or "hire me" posts with misleading rates will be removed. Editing rate must not be less than 5 cents per word. - No Vague or Low Effort Posts
Please provide a detailed description of your task, as posts with minimal effort may be subject to removal. - No Employer Asking for ID /or More Than a 100 Word Sample (Unreasonable Employer)
Employers requesting your ID or a sample of over 100 words are often scammers, so it's best to ignore and report them right away. Additionally, those asking specifically for "native" English speakers should also be reported for action. - Incorrect Use of Flair
An employer is misrepresenting advanced or general-level work as entry-level, or requesting a portfolio for an entry-level job posting. Report this immediately. - Writer Has No Online Portfolio Available or It's Inaccessible
Writers can create a simple portfolio using platforms like Medium, WordPress, or Google Drive to share samples and improve their chances of securing work. - Academic Dishonesty is not allowed!
Strictly, no academic related posts are allowed. Offenders would be subject to a permanent ban with no option to appeal. - Abusing [META] Tag

Scamming is strictly prohibited. Scammers are subject to a permanent ban with no option of appealing. - No competitions
Posts asking writers to compete in order to get work are strictly prohibited. Such posts may result in a permanent ban - Moderator discretion
Moderators have full discretion to take any necessary action, including removing posts, banning users, or enforcing rules as they see fit. Their decisions are final and aimed at maintaining the integrity and fairness of the community. Failure to comply with moderator instructions may result in further disciplinary action.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
