All 8 rules of r/localseo
- Keep It Civil
We are all adults here. We must foster a healthy environment for all to ask questions and learn. There are no stupid questions here. Disagreements will and should happen, but as long as everyone handles it respectfully and openly, there shouldn't be any problem. - Posts Must Be Related To SEO
Posts must be related to search engine optimization, even just adjacent. For example if the entire post is around PPC, there are better subs for your post. - No Self-Promotion/Backlinks

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
