Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Odd_directions's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Stories, whether single posts or series should always include events that feel they are contributing to the overall narrative. Stories where there is no proper cause and effect will be removed. Series can have cliffhangers but single stories cannot - 1 post per 24 hours
From the moment your story has gone live you aren’t allowed to post another entry until that post has cleared 24 hours; you can see this clearly indicated next to the top of the post which will change and read 1 day.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
