What its rules say about promotion
No Self Promotion
Self promotion means sharing content that you could personally or indirectly benefit from. For example: Promoting your Discord server, YouTube channel, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, personal subreddit, etc Selling trading services, chat room access, educational content, DVDs, books, etc Posting referral links for "free shares", sign up links, surveys, requests for beta testers, etc
No Spam
If you're wondering, "Is this spam?"—it probably is. Spam covers a wide range of unwanted content, including: Low-effort or lazy posts Posting the same thing repeatedly in the same subreddit Clickbait, self-promotion, referral links, surveys, or anything that seems shady or unwelcome.
What its rules say about AI and bots
No Low-Effort Posts
When posting a link or image, please include meaningful commentary unless the title clearly provides substantial information. Posting just an image, your trading positions, or P&L gains/losses without market or risk analysis will be considered low-effort. Additionally, posts with excessive amounts of AI-generated text are also deemed low-effort.

Well-reasoned arguments and disagreements are welcomed. Harassment and personal attacks are not. We have a zero tolerance policy for this rule. Harassment includes but is not limited to ad-hominem attacks, racism, discrimination, sexual harassment, hateful/violent language, slurs, and in general just being an asshole. If you are being harassed, report it to us or Reddit admins. If you are harassing someone, you will be permanently and immediately banned and reported to Reddit. - No Low-Effort Posts

Additionally, posts with excessive amounts of AI-generated text are also deemed low-effort. - Stay on-topic to Options and Stock Market
We focus on discussions related to options, stocks and futures. This includes topics such as market-moving events, company earnings, and economic developments that directly affect the financial markets. Off-topic content will be removed. Additionally, political posts or comments that do not respectfully contribute to the discussion may be removed at the discretion of the moderators.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
