What this page is
This page quotes r/PakGameDev's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/PakGameDev's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
No AI Slop
We want to celebrate creativity, skills and hard work of our community. Any purely AI generated, vibe coded or posts promoting generative AI will be removed.
No WTS/WTB Posts
Buying and selling posts will earn you an instant ban.
Self Promotion
It is fully allowed and encouraged to promote your work and projects. We believe this helps inspire the community and motivates us all. Remember we are fellow devs, not your audience, so you can relax the sales pitch and just tell us about your wins. Show us your process. Technical sneak peaks, postmortems and dev logs are better than a marketing copy. Please use proper flairs when doing so. Avoid links in the posts to not get suppressed by reddit.

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
