What this page is

This page quotes r/paralegal's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/paralegal's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

A sub for paralegals and other legal professionals to share information and help each other.

What its rules say about promotion

No advertising or promotion.
With the exception of links to legitimate job postings as described in Rule 4, absolutely no advertising or promotion is permitted. This includes any kind of tool, app, program or software that you might have created. Our sub is not the place to get feedback or testers for your “innovation”.

What its rules say about AI and bots

No bot or karma-farming content
Bot posts/comments are not allowed and will be removed. Additionally, all posts/comments that appear to be farming for karma will be removed.
All 8 rules of r/paralegal
  1. Be civil.
No trolling, witch hunting or personal attacks. Follow Reddiquette. Violating this rule will result in a warning the first time and a ban the second time. Some actions may result in an immediate ban at the discretion of the mod team.
  2. Content must be relevant to the legal profession.
This is a sub for paralegals and other legal professionals to share and discuss content relevant to the field. Those with an interest in entering the legal profession are more than welcome to post under the correct flair (Future Paralegal), but any other posts from those outside of the field are considered off-topic and will be removed.
  3. Do not ask for or give legal advice.
Paralegals cannot give legal advice. Don't ask for it. Do not give it. Try r/legaladvice.
  4. Do not post or ask for personal contact information.
If you have a job to post, please post a link to a legitimate job posting. Do not post asking people to contact you privately.
  5. No advertising or promotion.
With the exception of links to legitimate job postings as described in Rule 4, absolutely no advertising or promotion is permitted. This includes any kind of tool, app, program or software that you might have created. Our sub is not the place to get feedback or testers for your “innovation”.
  6. No solicitation.
It is prohibited to solicit information, input or feedback from our users based on their activity in this sub. If it comes to our attention that you are doing this via private message, you will be banned.
  7. Mod decisions are final.
The moderators of this sub are volunteers. We take time out of our personal lives to try to make this a helpful sub for paralegals and we use our best judgment when moderating. You may not always agree with our decisions but a mod decision is final. Continually and/or publicly arguing about it or insulting the mods will not be tolerated. Mods may remove comments or ban users at their discretion. Do not message any mods directly.
  8. No bot or karma-farming content
Bot posts/comments are not allowed and will be removed. Additionally, all posts/comments that appear to be farming for karma will be removed.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
