What this page is
This page quotes r/PCVR's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/PCVR's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

No Low Effort Posts or Low Effort Crossposts to prevent the amount of spam. Simply crossposting another post with no context is considered low effort. This rule applies to posts only. - Read our Game Recommendation post
We receive a considerable number of posts each day from users who are looking for VR game recommendations. As these posts are flooding the sub, they often get ignored and have to be cleaned up by our moderators. To help you decide which great game you should play next we have created a dedicated [Game Recommendation](https://www.reddit.com/r/VRGaming/comments/ymsewg/recommended_games_pcvr_quest_psvr/) post. Posts submitted asking for game recommendations may be removed. - Spoilers / NSFW
Spoilers are NOT allowed in submission titles. NSFW content must be marked / flaired as such. Posts of games that are pornography can be removed at the Mods discretion. This rule applies to posts and comments. - No low-effort Headset or PC recommendation questions
Asking a technical question about PCVR is allowed, but this is not an entry level VR sub. Beginner questions like first time headset recommendations or first time PC buying recommendations are not encouraged here. If you are new to VR please read wikis online, watch tutorials, or ask in r/virtualreality - "Is this on Quest?"
Ban.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
