  2. Follow Reddit's Rules & Reddiquette
[Reddit's rules](https://www.reddit.com/wiki/contentpolicy) disallow bigotry, hate speech, doxxing, spamming, vote manipulation, ban evasion, and others. [Reddiquette](https://www.reddithelp.com/en/categories/reddit-101/reddit-basics/reddiquette) is an informal expression of Reddit's values, as written by redditors themselves. While these are not official rules, please abide by them the best you can. Egregious violations of either will lead to post deletions, temporary, or permanent bans.

  7. Posts Requiring Approval
These types of posts toe the line between useful content and spam, and thus need prior consent from mods before posting: * Surveys/Studies or any crowdsourcing post * Giveaways * Donations Obtain consent from the mods by either flairing the post with "Pending Approval" flair or sending us a [modmail](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=r/PHGamers) first before posting these. What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
