What this page is
This page quotes r/photoshop's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/photoshop's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

Posting content with the sole purpose of promoting your YouTube channel / website is not allowed. No URLs or social media handles in post titles. Also don't post your Photoshop creations that promote real brands or products (such as advertisements for real companies, YouTube thumbnails etc.) - No AI-generated replies/posts
Do not use ChatGPT or similar to write your posts. - Low quality content will be removed
Mods can and will remove content they find low quality, such as memes, or questions like "is this photoshopped?" or "What font is this?" Feel free to post artwork / designs you have made with Photoshop as long as you have actually put some effort in it (e.g not something like a face swap with a monkey or a motivational quote on an image of a sunset). Photo repairs, fixes or colorizations fit better on /r/retouching, /r/postprocessing and /r/colorization, consider posting them there instead. - Don't use the subreddit as a personal art gallery
You can share artwork / designs you have made with photoshop, but you must wait at least 10 days before posting more. If you want to share several works you can make an album. Also consider being an active member of the community by commenting on others' posts and helping users solve their problems. - No Piracy
Posts and comments about DRM circumventing / file sharing of Photoshop or any other commercial software will result in a permanent ban. - No document forgery
sking how to alter official papers, screenshots, ID cards, licenses, masking signatures and removing watermarks will also result in a permanent ban. - Use descriptive titles
UPPER CASE TITLES and "Urgent!" posts will also be removed. - Be on topic
Posts should be specifically about Adobe Photoshop and how you / other people are using it. - No NSFW content
- Be nice
Don't be unnecessarily rude to others and try to follow the reddiquette
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
