What this page is

This page quotes r/procurement's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-10. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/procurement's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

Karma and Account Requirements
To keep AI spam and commercial solicitation to a minimum, we are now enforcing strict account minimums. New posts and comments require an account age of at least 7 days and a minimum of 15 comment karma. Content from accounts failing to meet these thresholds will be automatically held in the modqueue.
No Soliciting, Advertising or Marketing
r/procurement is a community for professional peer-to-peer discussion, not cold pitching. Unsolicited self-promotion, marketing, or advertising outside of the monthly stickied megathread is strictly prohibited. This includes posts, comments, or DMs pitching AI tools, SaaS platforms, or consulting services, which may be disguised as "discussion". Do not use this forum to harvest leads or scout clients. Violations will result in an immediate post removal and may lead to a permanent ban.

All 6 rules of r/procurement
  1. Civility and Professional Conduct
Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone. We have zero tolerance for discrimination, racism, sexism, harassment, personal attacks, or trolling. Doxxing (releasing private or identifying information) or abuse will result in an immediate and permanent ban. Treat your fellow professionals with the same respect you would expect in a workplace. Good vibes only!

  5. Keep Content Relevant
Posts must be relevant to the procurement profession. We maintain a broad scope to encourage diverse professional discussions, so topics covering the wider supply chain and legal ecosystem are welcome. This includes contract law, contract management, supplier management, inventory management, logistics, strategic sourcing, and operations management. Content completely unrelated to these fields will be removed to keep the community focused.
  6. Do Not Contact a Moderator Directly.
If you have a question relating to r/procurement, please reach out to the Mod team and not the individual moderators privately.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
