No spamming self-promotion of external content
Don't spam your own content, share affiliate links, sell things, or otherwise promote yourself. High quality content (eg, blogs, videos, interviews, etc) can be okay, but don't overdo it. Provide more value to the community than to yourself -- mods and accessories that members have been asking for are ok. Active members of the community sharing their mods/products for everyone to use is ok too. People who come in just to make a buck off the community are not allowed.

Content without context, poorly conceived memes, repetitive / automated posting, AI slop,. etc is not allowed.

First to post gets the karma. In an effort to keep conversations focused and to not spam the subreddit, duplicate articles, photos, etc will be removed. - No toxic or inappropriate content
Do not name call, troll, or make members of the community feel like they don't belong. If you need to criticize something, focus on actions and decisions rather than casting judgements on people or groups of people. NSFW content is not allowed and will be removed. - No spamming self-promotion of external content

Try to use the appropriate post flair, when you can. It makes it easier for members to find things they're looking for and helps communicate the subject of your post. - No stock discussion
Company performance discussions are fine, but please leave out general stock discussion/speculation and Wall Streets Bets-type content. We're an auto-enthusiast community, first and foremost. Use r/RIVN or wait for the quarterly earnings megathread where we allow stock discussions.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
