What its rules say about promotion
No Buying/Selling Reddit Accounts and No Reddit Tasks Gigs
Posting about buying, selling, trading, or transferring Reddit accounts is strictly prohibited. Reddit tasks are also not allowed as it risks accounts of users to get shadowbanned. Violation of this rule will result in Permaban.
Referral Transparency & Posting Standards
All referral posts must clearly mention the app’s name and the signup bonus offered to the referee (the person joining). Additionally, the referrer (the inviter) must share valid payment proof received from the app or website to confirm authenticity and prevent posts made solely for referral earnings. **Sharing links in posts that don't meet these standards may result in removal or a ban.**
No Unethical/ Illegal Tasks or NSFW Content
Do not promote, seek, or discuss any illegal or unethical activities. This includes: - Scams, pyramid schemes, or "get-rich-quick" schemes - Selling or promoting illegal goods or services - NSFW or hateful content Violations will result in immediate removal or a permanent ban.
No Karma Farming, Spamming
Do not spam the same post repeatedly in this subreddit. Crossposting to other subreddits is fine, as long as it's **relevant** and **not for karma farming**. Posts made only to gain karma or promote something will be removed, and repeated offenders may be banned or muted.
Self-Promotion Limits
Self-promotion is allowed **only if your content adds real value** to the community. Write a proper post that explains your content, don't just drop a short link or promo. Posts must: - Offer genuine information, insight, or discussion value - Include more than just a one-line description and link - Be approved by mods if it looks like promotion
No Social Media Engagement Tasks, Review Farming or Platform Abuse.
Posts offering or requesting any task meant to artificially boost or manipulate any online or social media platform are not allowed. This includes paid or unpaid reviews, fake reviews, review farming, incentivised ratings, Instagram tasks, Discord tasks, app installs, sign-ups, referrals, traffic pushing, or any activity intended to create fake growth or engagement. First Offense – 7 Days Temporary Ban Second Offense – Permanent Ban

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
