No referral links. Follow [Reddit self-promotion guidelines](https://www.reddit.com/wiki/selfpromotion/#wiki_here_are_some_guidelines_for_best_practices.3A): no more than 10% of self-promotion posts on your account. Accounts not contributing to the sub are not allowed for self-promotion.
Game developer posts
You must use DevPost flair if you are a developer and create a submission about your game. Each DevPost should be interesting and descriptive, otherwise it will be considered as advertisement and deleted. **No posts about sales and selling.**

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
