What this page is
This page quotes r/toronto's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/toronto's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

All 6 rules of r/toronto
- Submissions must be specific or relevant to Toronto or the GTA
This is the core tenet of this community. Posts and comments about broader international, national or provincial issues belong in more appropriate communities. - Do not be an asshole
You know what this means. Don't be a waste yute. No racism, sexism, homophobia, religious intolerance, dehumanizing speech, or other negative generalizations. No concern-trolling, victim blaming, or personal attacks. No misinformation. - Do not post disallowed content

When posting an article, use its existing headline. Removing clickbait is permitted. Post your opinion in the comments if you feel the need. When posting a photo, video, or discussion, titles must be descriptive of the contents at a minimum but can also provide added context. No clickbait or generic titles. - Do not create duplicate posts
We do not allow multiple posts on the same story, unless they add a significant amount of new information. - All of Reddit's platform-wide rules apply
Please follow Reddiquette and all of Reddit’s sitewide rules. Ban evasion is not allowed.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
