What this page is

This page quotes r/TowerDefense's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-11. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/TowerDefense's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

Tower defense is a subgenre of strategy video games where the goal is to defend a player's territories or possessions by obstructing enemy attackers, usually by placing defensive structures on or along their path of attack. This typically means building different structures that serve to block, impede, attack, or destroy enemies. Strategic choice and positioning of defensive elements is an essential strategy of the genre. *This subreddit is for Tower Defense: old and new video games*

What its rules say about AI and bots

The Limits of AI

AI art is strictly not allowed. These terms are subject for example to the extent of which AI is used and are more guidelines, rather than absolutes. In case of ANY doubt, ask the mod team.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
