What this page is
This page quotes r/ukulele's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/ukulele's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
No spam or excessive self-promotion
Some promotion is fine if it is not excessive: - Sharing free-to-access content is ok. A donation option is fine if the main content is free. - Promoting community events is allowed, but if it is only relevant to a small geographical area it should be limited. - Some promotion from established community members is allowed. We are looking for 10+ posts that are NOT about your paid content for every promotion post. - "Check out my app!" ...only if it is unique and completely free to use.
No manipulative AI slop
R/ukulele is for humans. If your post or comment looks like low-effort slop or if it looks like it is LLM text designed to build up account trust or secretly advertise something, we will remove it. If you need to use AI to translate, organise, interpret or edit your content, disclose it in the post and explain why you used it. Posts talking about AI that share examples are fine, as long as they are still on topic.

All 4 rules of r/ukulele
- Be respectful, even in disagreements
Please remember that sarcastic and or “witty” comments are sometimes not easy to interpret in a text comment. Try to make everyone’s day better, not worse. - No spam or excessive self-promotion

Posts should be related to ukuleles or the ukulele community somehow. Cavaquinhos, charangos, timples and similar are all welcome, and so are Tahitian ukuleles, banjo ukuleles, bass ukuleles, and electric ukuleles that look like rock star guitars. We might even be happy with tenor guitars if you are not a jerk about it. - No manipulative AI slop

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
