What this page is

This page quotes r/utau's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/utau's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

Posting this content will result in a permanent, unappealable ban.

All 10 rules of r/utau

Posts should be about UTAU.
Please stay on topic. This is an UTAU-specific subreddit, please post about UTAU. For a more general subreddit for your vocal synth shenanigans, r/Vocaloid is your best bet.
Please respect UTAU's TOS and a VB's TOU.
Respect Ameya's work and the work of bank owners. Don't break UTAU's TOS and don't violate the TOU set out by a voicebank's owner. Undistrinuted jinrikis or jinrikis distributed with character owner/character voicer's permission (such as the FNF Boyfriend jinriki) are fine. We will not take down posts simply USING discontinued VBs since we cannot know whether they were obtained in a way that is TOU compliant, but distributing discontinued VBs when it is not allowed per their TOU is prohibited
Flair posts appropriately.
No bigotry of any kind.
This includes but is not limited to; sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, xenophobia, etc.
Credit art that is not yours.

No RVC
Use of RVC banks by voice providers who have not provided consent will result in a permanent ban upon first offense

What the written rules don't show

Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
