Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/vedicastrologyexperts's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

All 13 rules of r/vedicastrologyexperts

Rule 1: Be Specific and Clear with Your Post
Every post must focus on one clear question or topic. Please don’t ask for full chart readings. Astrologers contribute their time generously, so help them help you by narrowing your inquiry. Use all the charts that you want the readers to consider, and make sure the image is clear, ideally showing degrees, transits, and vimshottari dasha periods. Avoid vague or low-effort posts like “What does my chart say?” or “Any insights?” These will be removed or will be ignored. We also don’t allow synast
Rule 2: Add Birth Details for Better Insights
To get meaningful responses, consider sharing your date, time, and place of birth. Many experienced readers prefer using their own trusted tools and may skip your post if they can’t verify the data independently. Providing this info improves accuracy and engagement.
Rule 3: No Charts of Children Under 8
Please refrain from posting charts of children younger than 8 years old. Early life is a delicate phase, and interpretations at this stage can lead to unnecessary anxiety or assumptions. Let children grow without being burdened by predictive analysis too soon.
Rule 4: Restricted Topics
Posts or comments about suicide, mental health diagnoses, character judgment, spying on others, or predicting harm are strictly not allowed. Astrology is not a substitute for professional help-astrologers are not trained psychiatrists or therapists. For sensitive or serious issues, please consult appropriate support channels or subreddits designed to help.
Rule 5: No Self-Promotion or Service Selling
Do not promote your own services. This includes linking to videos, Discord servers, Facebook groups, events, or anything where you're offering paid readings. Posts or comments from accounts primarily used for selling will be removed, even if no direct link is present.
Rule 6: No Piracy
Sharing or linking to pirated or copyrighted materials is strictly prohibited and violates Reddit’s Terms of Service. This includes books, PDFs, software, and courses. Promoting or distributing pirated content will result in an immediate ban without exceptions.
Rule 7: Avoid Bold Claims Without Support
Please don’t make sweeping or extreme statements like “emotionally unstable,” “weak mind,” or “destined for disaster” unless you can clearly support them with astrological reasoning. Vedic astrology is a nuanced science; misuse by inexperienced readers can lead to confusion and unnecessary fear. If your input isn’t constructive or informed, it’s better to hold back.
Rule 8: Be Respectful and Civil
Treat everyone with respect, regardless of their experience level or beliefs. No personal attacks, mockery, or condescending language. Debate ideas, not people. Let’s keep the space safe, welcoming, and focused.
Rule 9: Use Appropriate Post Titles & Flairs
Your post title should briefly reflect your question or discussion topic. Avoid clickbait, vague titles like “Help me!” or “Chart reading please.” A clear title helps readers engage meaningfully and efficiently.
Rule 10: No Meme-Only or Joke Posts
This is a learning and discussion-focused subreddit. While humor has its place, avoid posting memes or low-effort content without a meaningful astrological angle. We encourage thoughtful contributions that add value to the community.
Rule 11: No NSFW or Disturbing Content
This is a respectful, learning-focused space. Do not post sexually explicit, suggestive, or NSFW material, or discuss disturbing topics or post anything related to graphic violence. Such content is inappropriate here and will be removed. Users violating this rule may be permanently banned.
Rule 12: Do Not Delete Posts After Receiving Comments
Astrologers here offer their time and insights generously and without expectation. Deleting your post after receiving thoughtful replies is disrespectful and undermines the purpose of this community. If privacy is a concern, please do not post your chart at all. Removing posts after engagement may result in a permanent ban. We value sincerity and shared learning - please participate with integrity.
Rule 13: No AI-Generated Posts or Comments
Posts or comments that appear to be generated by AI without human effort, context, or sincerity will be removed. This sub values real interaction and thoughtful discussion. Repeated use of AI-generated content may result in a permanent ban. Please engage authentically.

What the written rules don't show

Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
