What this page is

This page quotes r/YouTubeCamp's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/YouTubeCamp's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

The place for YouTube creators in the wild, focused on mastering long form content, storytelling, and long term channel growth. It's a space to dive into retention, thumbnails, monetization, and scaling a channel that actually lasts. The focus is on skill building, consistency, and understanding what drives sustainable growth, along with discussions, insights, and viral or relatable creator content tied to the YouTube journey.

What its rules say about promotion

Explain your work
If you're sharing your own channel or video, walk us through the thinking. What were you trying to do, what worked, what didn't. Posts that drop a link with no commentary don't belong here.
No promotion
Threads that exist purely to push a channel, link, or offer will be removed. Sharing belongs inside real discussion, not as the point of the post.
All 7 rules of r/YouTubeCamp
  1. Explain your work
If you're sharing your own channel or video, walk us through the thinking. What were you trying to do, what worked, what didn't. Posts that drop a link with no commentary don't belong here.
  2. Constructive criticism
Feedback should be specific and useful. If you're tearing someone's thumbnail apart, say what you'd change and why. Personal attacks, dismissive comments, and pure negativity will be removed.
  3. Youtube first
Posts should relate to the YouTube craft: storytelling, packaging, retention, analytics, channel strategy, monetization, or the creator journey. Off topic content will be removed.
  4. Creator journey content
Viral clips, lighter posts about editing pain, render times, or the weird reality of being a long form creator are welcome when they actually reflect the YouTube experience. Random content with no tie in will be removed.
  5. No promotion
Threads that exist purely to push a channel, link, or offer will be removed. Sharing belongs inside real discussion, not as the point of the post.
  6. No mature content
This space is focused on the YouTube craft. Explicit, sexual, or adult focused material will be removed to keep it accessible to all creators.
  7. English Only
All posts and comments must be written in English. Posts or comments in other languages may be removed without notice.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
