Your plan for Delete: Automatic Screenshot Deleter
Delete: Automatic Screenshot Deleter is an Android app that automatically deletes screenshots after a time period you set, to keep your gallery clean.
r/Android 3,192,586 members
It allows a post about it on its stated conditions
Why it fits: Its posts must be about the Android OS or ecosystem, and this is an Android utility for people whose galleries fill up with old screenshots.
What it expects, an opening angle, what gets it removed
- What it expects
- Your post must be "a self post with a detailed description of their app." Your account must be at least three months old with a reasonable posting history there, and you must interact with users in the thread.
- An opening angle
- Start from the everyday problem of temporary screenshots like order confirmations piling up, and explain how the app clears them after a time you choose.
- What gets a post removed
- A link dropped without staying to answer comments, an account that is too new or has no history there, affiliate links, a repost, or a giveaway or poll without approval.
Its rule, word for word:
“Developers may post their own apps, provided:”
- “Their post must be a self post with a detailed description of their app.”
- “The developer's account must be at least three months old AND have a reasonable posting history on r/Android.”
- “The developer must interact with users in the thread.”
and 2 more in its rules
- “We do not allow developers to simply dump a link to their app and leave.”
- “Website/blog/YouTube channel owners are generally not allowed to post their own content.”

It allows a post about it
Why it fits: It is a community for sharing mobile apps, and this is a mobile app you just published.
What it expects, an opening angle, what gets it removed
- What it expects
- Its rules state no format beyond the permission quoted below.
- An opening angle
- Explain the one job the app does, deleting screenshots on a timer you set, and ask what features would make it more useful.
- What gets a post removed
- Promoting anything other than a mobile app, AI content, or being disrespectful.
Its rule, word for word:
“Only promote your mobile apps”
Rules read Oct 4 · its rules on Reddit
r/ShowYourApp 18,350 members
It allows a post about it on its stated conditions
Why it fits: It is for makers and devs to share apps and get feedback, and you are asking for feedback on a newly released app.
What it expects, an opening angle, what gets it removed
- What it expects
- Your post needs "a short description or context" with any link, and its rules ask you to comment on and give feedback on other people's posts.
- An opening angle
- Share why you kept the app to one task, and ask other makers whether automatic screenshot cleanup is something they would use.
- What gets a post removed
- A bare link with no description, or spam. The quoted permission covers sharing your app with context, nothing beyond that.
Its rule, word for word:
“This community exists for makers, devs, and founders to share their apps, SaaS, and software projects.”
- “Just make sure your post includes a short description or context — don’t drop a bare link.”
- “Comment on others’ posts, give feedback, and celebrate wins together.”

All 11 of its rules for posts, word for word
- Rule 1 - Off Topic All posts to r/Android must be related to the Android OS or ecosystem in some way. If not obvious, you should submit the link as a self-post and include an explanation. The title and body of self-posts should be translated to English if written in another language. Comments that devolve into purely political discussions may be locked and people in violation may get banned if they are also violating Rule 9.
- Rule 2 - No support questions/rants/bug-reports We welcome posts that benefit the community (device reviews, guides, discussions and rumors) and not the individual (seeking help, e.g. tech support). You might be interested in r/AndroidQuestions, r/PickAnAndroidForMe, or /r/AndroidApps. If you're asking a question, include your own analysis first in a few sentences. Discussion-promoting rants are okay at mods' discretion.
- Rule 3 - Images/videos in self-posts Please provide an explanation in the self-post body. No memes. YouTube videos are fine as links, provided they don't break other rules.
- Rule 4 - No self-promotional spamming Developers may post their own apps, provided: 1- Their post must be a self post with a detailed description of their app. 2- The developer's account must be at least three months old AND have a reasonable posting history on r/Android. 3- The developer must interact with users in the thread. We do not allow developers to simply dump a link to their app and leave. Website/blog/YouTube channel owners are generally not allowed to post their own content.
- Rule 5 - No reposts or blog-spam/rehosted content Submit the original source whenever possible, unless it's not in English, the article adds substantial information, or if sharing via /c/android. Reposts are not allowed. This includes an article whose information has already been covered by another article posted on r/Android.
- Rule 6 - No editorializing titles Please do not change the link's title when submitting it, unless necessary to accurately sum up the article. You may freely add "[Author]" or "by Author" if it clarifies the article's source (e.g. YouTube video). If you want to discuss something specific, use the comments or submit it as a self-post (see rule 2).
- Rule 7 - No piracy Do not link or discuss pirated apps/piracy websites.
- Rule 8 - No unauthorized polls, bots or giveaways. To prevent scams, we require that all polls or giveaways be approved by the moderators. Modmail us with your request before you post any poll or do any giveaway. Only pre-approved bots are allowed on /r/Android. Currently, the only bot we allow is the Play Store Link bot. This bot can be summoned by commenting "Linkme: APPNAMEHERE." without quotes. Wish to use your bot on this sub? Modmail us and explain why it's useful. Modmail us
- Rule 9 - No offensive or low-effort comments. All comments must be in English. Do not be rude to any other user. Be respectful, or you may be banned. Do not use hate speech of any kind. Do not be disrespectful towards another for their personal choices (excessive fanboyism). Do not accuse others of being "paid shills." Do not post low-effort/circlejerky comments. Most of all, read redditquette https://www.reddithelp.com/en/categories/reddit-101/reddit-basics/reddiquette All comments must be submitted in English.
- Rule 10 - No affiliate links If you are a Redditor, affiliate links are absolutely NOT allowed in either the comments section, within the self-text of your post, or as part of your link. If you post an article, affiliate links will NOT be allowed if the article being linked is a simple "deal alert" type post. Instead, simply link directly to the deal (without the affiliate link included).
- posting guidelines DO NOT SUBMIT SUPPORT QUESTIONS! It will be removed! Have a question or need help? Try /r/androidquestions. Need help picking a new phone? Try /r/pickanandroidforme. All 8 of its rules for posts, word for word
- Be an App Crusher, Not a Lurker This is a "give-and-take" community. If you want 12 testers, you better be out there testing others. Don't just drop your link and vanish into the space.
- Official Store Links Only To keep our devices (and our sanity) safe, we only allow links from verified distribution platforms (Google Play, App Store/TestFlight, Galaxy Store, etc.). Direct APK/IPA downloads are strictly prohibited. If it’s not behind a trusted store curtain, it doesn’t belong here.
- No Spam / "Engagement Farming" We are here to test apps, not to watch you promote your telegram group, your "SEO services," or your unrelated YouTube channel. If your post looks like an ad or a copy-pasted bot message, it’s going straight to the shadow realm.
- Quality Feedback is King "Nice app" is not feedback. If the UI is a mess on a 10-inch tablet, say it. If the onboarding is confusing, point it out. We’re here to help each other launch successful apps, not just any apps. Brutal honesty > Fake politeness.
- Use the Correct Flairs To keep the community organized and help other developers find your posts, please use the most relevant flair: [12 Testers Needed] for your recruitment phases. [Bug/Feedback] for technical or design critiques. [Daily Update] to track your 14-day progress. [Google Play] for Console-specific issues. [Question] for general doubts.
- Keep the Community Clean While we encourage you to share your progress as often as you like, please avoid "low-effort" duplicate posts. Instead of posting the same link every few hours, use the [Daily Update] flair to keep the community involved in your journey. High-quality updates get more testers!
- Respect the "Test for Test" Spirit This is a collaborative ecosystem. The best way to get people to test your app is to spend a few minutes testing someone else's first. Karma moves fast here—be the developer you’d want to have testing your own app.
- sidebar Use the flair to indicate [Device, Version] Rules: * Do *NOT* post links to cracked apps!!! * Be sure to mention the Android Version you tested with * Please, if you are posting your app, please take the time to explain your app and it's intentions * Report suspicious apps to the Mods * No abusive comments, please be constructive in feedback *If you are a Developer, message the mods and they can give you a special flair* Related Subreddits: * Android * Android Developers * Android Apps * Android Gaming

Check setup for my AI and computer
Will it work with my setup?
Choose your AI client and computer to see the steps before you buy. Your AI plan is separate; ThreadFox runs locally through your Chrome.
Claude Desktop · install the extension
- Use a Claude Desktop build that supports local extensions. From your private buyer library, download
ThreadFox.mcpb, open it with Claude and click Install. - Start a new regular chat. Desktop supplies Python; ThreadFox prepares Node.js if needed. The Code view uses the terminal path instead.
- Add Microsoft’s Playwright Extension to your Chrome, sign in to Reddit, then choose Set up ThreadFox under + or type
set up ThreadFox.
Linux: Claude Desktop is in beta. Confirm your build offers local extension installation. If opening the file does not offer Install, choose Claude Code or Codex and use the terminal route. Current Linux requirements.
Claude Code or Codex · use your library’s installer
- Install and sign in to your AI client on this computer first. It must support local tools.
- From your private library, copy the command for your system into PowerShell on Windows, or Terminal on macOS/Linux. Keep the full command private. It installs the tools and registers the supported clients it finds.
- Restart the AI client. Add Microsoft’s Playwright Extension to Chrome, sign in to Reddit, and ask your AI to
set up ThreadFox.
The installer uses Python 3.10+ and Node.js 18+, or downloads checksum-verified copies for supported systems. No administrator rights are needed for the ThreadFox installer. Keep the AI client and Chrome on the same computer.
Use a computer to run the tools
A phone or browser-only chat can read your library and claim the included Launch Pack, but cannot run these local tools. The pack is a one-product plan and three drafts, emailed within 24 hours of your library claim.
Continue on a computer with Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex. If you want our team to run the campaign, Managed is a separate service.
Ready means: after the first Chrome tab-selection prompt, the tool check passes and your AI shows the intended Reddit username. Installing a client alone does not prove the connection. Keep normal permission prompts enabled.

What do I need?
A computer, Chrome, your Reddit account and Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex. Your AI service is separate. This is a toolkit that runs with your AI on your computer; a phone alone is not enough. Watch the setup walkthrough.
What arrives after payment?
Your private library with the ThreadFox installer and connection guide. Connect your AI and Chrome, give it your business brief and let it carry out the outreach you authorize. Claim your included Launch Pack there: a researched community plan and three tailored post drafts for one product, emailed within 24 hours of your claim.
Will it post automatically?
Yes. Once connected, your AI can research, write, publish and follow up within the permissions you give it. ThreadFox supplies the tools and workflow; your AI client runs the job. Keep the required computer and client running for active work. Community rules, account restrictions and your client's permission prompts still apply.
What if it is not for me?
The kit has a 30-day self-service refund. Your free plan stays free. If you want a team to run the campaign instead, Managed starts at $49 for 30 days.
Does this guarantee customers?
No. The demo proves that the tools can publish a post and reply. Results depend on your offer, the conversations available and how people respond. See our recorded runs.
