Put your plan for Pikon to work.

We used ThreadFox to find your Reddit thread. Use the same tools to find useful threads, check the rules, write posts and replies, and follow up.

  • Reusable Reddit tools: connect Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex to your Chrome. Your AI can research, write, publish and follow up. You authorize the work.
  • Your included Launch Pack: a community plan and three tailored post drafts for one product. Emailed within 24 hours of your library claim. Claim it before tool setup.

Set it up once on your computer with a compatible AI client, Chrome and your Reddit account. Your AI service is separate. Keep using the tools beyond the three included drafts.

$19.99 for you, instead of $49 $19.99 total, one time. Offer ends October 19. 30-day self-service refund.

We run it on ourselves. On October 12 it brought 1,994 people from Reddit to this site. What it brings you depends on your product and what you say.

Check setup for my AI and computer
Will it work with my setup?

Choose your AI client and computer to see the steps before you buy. Your AI plan is separate; ThreadFox runs locally through your Chrome.

Claude Desktop · install the extension

  1. Use a Claude Desktop build that supports local extensions. From your private buyer library, download ThreadFox.mcpb, open it with Claude and click Install.
  2. Start a new regular chat. Desktop supplies Python; ThreadFox prepares Node.js if needed. The Code view uses the terminal path instead.
  3. Add Microsoft’s Playwright Extension to your Chrome, sign in to Reddit, then choose Set up ThreadFox under + or type set up ThreadFox.

Linux: Claude Desktop is in beta. Confirm your build offers local extension installation. If opening the file does not offer Install, choose Claude Code or Codex and use the terminal route. Current Linux requirements.

Claude Code or Codex · use your library’s installer

  1. Install and sign in to your AI client on this computer first. It must support local tools.
  2. From your private library, copy the command for your system into PowerShell on Windows, or Terminal on macOS/Linux. Keep the full command private. It installs the tools and registers the supported clients it finds.
  3. Restart the AI client. Add Microsoft’s Playwright Extension to Chrome, sign in to Reddit, and ask your AI to set up ThreadFox.

The installer uses Python 3.10+ and Node.js 18+, or downloads checksum-verified copies for supported systems. No administrator rights are needed for the ThreadFox installer. Keep the AI client and Chrome on the same computer.

Use a computer to run the tools

A phone or browser-only chat can read your library and claim the included Launch Pack, but cannot run these local tools. The pack is a one-product plan and three drafts, emailed within 24 hours of your library claim.

Continue on a computer with Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex. If you want our team to run the campaign, Managed is a separate service.

Ready means: after the first Chrome tab-selection prompt, the tool check passes and your AI shows the intended Reddit username. Installing a client alone does not prove the connection. Keep normal permission prompts enabled.

12 communities’ rules allow a post about it; the 8 that fit best are below.

Your plan for Pikon

Pikon is a mobile Flutter project with a small 3D archipelago built on flutter_scene and Flutter GPU, shown alongside Flutter UI in development.

r/FlutterDev 183,463 members

It allows a post about it on its stated conditions

Why it fits: Its members are Flutter developers sharing knowledge, and your quality presets and frame governor for flutter_scene are specific Flutter GPU insight they can use.

What it expects, an opening angle, what gets it removed
What it expects
Share either the source or "Insights about building the app" specific to Pikon, keep it directly about Flutter, and make sure any video has understandable English subtitles.
An opening angle
Walk through how Pikon picks a starting quality level from device RAM before the first frame and how the frame governor steps it down, then ask how others set their thresholds.
What gets a post removed
Your post would be removed for advertising the app, generic insight that is not specific to Pikon, an AI-written article, low-effort content, or an offer to hire or be hired.

Its rule, word for word:

“Only post about it here if you are willing to share either:”
  • “The source of the app”
  • “Insights about building the app (Generic insight is insufficient, it must be specific to your app.)”
  • “Companies offering development services will be banned on the spot, this is a community for developers to share knowledge, not a job board.”
and 2 more in its rules
  • “Paid or restricted articles are not allowed here.”
  • “No advertising of apps”

It allows a post about it

Why it fits: It is "a subreddit to share your mobile app", and Pikon is a mobile project.

What it expects, an opening angle, what gets it removed
What it expects
Your post must be about your own mobile app and contain no AI content. Its rules say nothing more about format.
An opening angle
Show the development clip of the 3D archipelago running alongside the Flutter UI and explain in your own words what Pikon is.
What gets a post removed
Your post would be removed for AI content or for a post about anything other than your own mobile app.

Its rule, word for word:

“Only promote your mobile apps”

Rules read Oct 4 · its rules on Reddit

r/ShowYourApp 18,350 members

It allows a post about it on its stated conditions

Why it fits: It is for makers and developers to show what they have built and get feedback, which suits sharing Pikon's 3D world while you build it.

What it expects, an opening angle, what gets it removed
What it expects
Include a short description or context with any link instead of a bare link, and comment on other people's posts too.
An opening angle
Share the development clip, explain how the world adjusts its quality to each phone's memory, and ask what people notice on their own devices.
What gets a post removed
Your post would be removed for a bare link with no description, spam, or disrespectful replies to feedback.

Its rule, word for word:

“This community exists for makers, devs, and founders to share their apps, SaaS, and software projects.”
  • “Just make sure your post includes a short description or context — don’t drop a bare link.”
  • “Comment on others’ posts, give feedback, and celebrate wins together.”

Other requirements in its rules:

  • “A reddit text post with a link and either no content, or content available at the link, does nothing but make navigation harder.”
All 11 of its rules for posts, word for word
  1. Must be directly related to Flutter If it is posted here, it must have an unambiguous relation to flutter itself. Articles about mobile programming that do not apply to flutter are against this rule.
  2. Help requests go in r/FlutterHelp If you need help with your code, including plugin suggestions, and hardware recommendations, please ask in r/FlutterHelp
  3. Use link posts whenever possible A reddit text post with a link and either no content, or content available at the link, does nothing but make navigation harder.
  4. Only english-accessible content If you have an article, provide a link to an english version, if you have a video, be sure that the english subtitles are available and understandable.
  5. No posts or comments offering to hire, or to be hired. Either use our Discord chat, or one of the many subreddits dedicated to this purpose. Companies offering development services will be banned on the spot, this is a community for developers to share knowledge, not a job board.
  6. No promotion of paywalled or loginwalled articles. Paid or restricted articles are not allowed here. If someone specifically asks for a recommendation, posting a comment with your content is fine.
  7. Keep content quality high The members of this community expect content made with some effort. If you post a copy/pasted article or a speedcode video with nothing but code being typed at 2x speed with music in the background, your content could get removed.
  8. No AI Generated Articles Low effort posts written by Large Language Models are not welcome here, they're often oversimplified, or sometimes straight up wrong. If you want to write content, ChatGPT is okay to generate an outline, but don't use it to do all the hard work. People can tell, GPTZero can tell, we can tell.
  9. No advertising of apps r/FlutterDev is not the place to advertise your apps, it is a place for developers to share knowledge. If you built an app in Flutter, great! You can advertise on r/AndroidApps , and other places dedicated to this purpose. their rules do not settle it; ask the moderators first

“We don't allow developers to post about their product directly as a post or spam our comments with their product, regardless of how good it is.”
All 17 of its rules for posts, word for word
  1. Don't be a jerk It's totally fine to disagree. Do so politely. Behave as an adult. Name calling, doxing etc is not okay here. Try not to be caustic. Life is hard enough. Treat everyone "as if" they're having a bad day and you'll be fine. Disagree if you like - just don't be disagreeable. Remember there's a human being on the other side of the keyboard.
  2. Feedback/Critique/What software/hardware? Use the megathread These are very common needs - we have a monthly thread for them. Please use it.
  3. Zero Piracy or Discussion of Piracy, or other Circumvention of IP Law. (Bannable immediately) We don't want people to rip off our work, we shouldn't rip off theirs. This includes content and software. Allowances will be made for fair use, however.
  4. Pick a subreddit for your post - not both (either here or /r/editors Either you're a professional (post /r/editors) or you're not (post here). Only in some rare circumstances should you be posting in both places.
  5. No rates - it's impossible to answer. Ok, we get it. "How much to charge." Whatever your question - we can't REALLY answer it. It has WAY too much to do with the gig, how long it takes, where you live and hell, what your time is worth. Deeper thoughts are part of two wiki entries found from our professional sister sub: https://www.reddit.com/r/editors/about/wiki/index/
  6. Developer (at any level?) Use the Developer thread We don't allow developers to post about their product directly as a post or spam our comments with their product, regardless of how good it is. We have a dedicated thread for you to use. Please use it and obey the rules for it
  7. No advertising your video-related services The purpose of the subreddit is to provide advice and help for hobbyist editors. If you are trying to find new clients /r/forhire may be a more appropriate place for such posts. Free isn't okay either. If you want to do free work, we recommend that you find someone local (friends, non profit, a hobby film group) who needs help
  8. No use of URL shorteners URL shorteners are helpful in character-limited social media settings, but with Reddit's 10,000 character limit and ability to obscure a link within markdown, they are unnecessary and can be used to obscure where someone is being directed to, which may be abused to direct people to unsafe websites, or to generate revenue by way of an advertising landing page (which we view as spam). An exception to this rule will be made for Approved Submitters.
  9. No advertising of spammy or license-abusive software This applies to software known to abuse either existing closed-source licenses or known to be abusing open source licenses. Brorsoft is a prime example of a company stealing Open Source video processing code and reselling it without permission.
  10. Tutorials on Tuesday If you want to post a tutorial you created - then it belongs on tuesdays with [TUTORIAL] at the start and the name of the software. If it's someone elses tutorial, then you should be posting as text - including the "what I learned" from the tutorial
  11. No "work for free" Why would you go to a place where everyone uses these tools and say "I do it too!". Go to your local charity (or interest) and ask if they need editing instead.
  12. No promoting your YouTube channel This is not a subreddit for people to promote their YouTube channel, or otherwise drive traffic to their channel in order to inflate their viewership/subscription numbers. People posting links to their own YouTube channels is allowed for critiquing, sharing of content for others to use, or on [Tutorial] Tuesday. However posting links for the sole purpose of promoting your YouTube channel is not allowed, and repeated violation can result in a ban.
  13. Discord- we're not interested. Look, we get it. Discord is the cool communications of today. Go look at IRC, ICQ, Slack and the other dozen chatrooms that have existed for 20+years. Since you're not going to give it over to the admins here and we can't authenticate against reddit, we can't recommend it.
  14. Low Effort posts Yeah, we get it. You want to create a discussion, controversy or want your answers on a plate. We expect some effort and some space to be relevant. And yes, this is totally on the mod's discretion.
  15. Posting a JOB? Here are the key rules The rules are simple, It is an exchange of work against time. - You have to make it the pricing a $/hr. It's not "Up to" in pricing. If it's a range *state the range* - The thread will get locked. People DM you. Not IG, not a form, you want filled out. You have to deal with the people applying Everything else will get rejected. Anything else is exploitative - such as per video, per minute or a shared revenue system.
  16. sidebar ---- ## Have a question about: ## Monthly "What software should I use?" ## Monthly thread for "What hardware should I use?" ## Monthly *Feedback on your edit* # You can find these in the "READ BEFORE YOU POST" thread. --- ##THREE IMMEDIATELY Bannable Offenses: * Posting your "video editing services" (No, not free either) * Discussion or advocacy of piracy * Referral programs Be respectful. We expect everyone to be civil and generally not act like a jerk. -------------------- ##Our Wiki with Common questions/answers ------------------ ##What We Are: * A place where people can ask questions about editing, from storytelling to technique to technical tricks * A place where people can seek feedback on their work (please use the monthly threads) * A resource for people to learn new things about editing ##What We Are Not: * A source for free labor — You'll be expected to volunteer your time or pay. Otherwise, finding someone in your local community is best. Do not look for free work here. * Someone to do your homework for you — Do your own work. * Help in circumventing copy protection or other forms of content protection — That's piracy, and that's not allowed here. * A place to show off your work — Feel free to ask for some constructive criticism in our feedback thread, but this is not a place to advertise your YouTube channel. There are other subreddits where that is more appropriate, like /r/Videos, /r/YouTube_startups, /r/SmallYTChannel, and /r/YouTubers even has monthly show-off threads. * A complete substitute for tech support — There's no problem asking about common errors or problems, workarounds for glitches, annoying limitations, but at some point, especially with some of the less commonly used tools, like PowerDirector and Filmora, you may wish to contact the developer's tech support services as well as posting here. * A place where you can "fish" and take advantage of people. If you want to post a job, *we expect you to quote some sort of pay* - hourly, daily, weekly etc. AND how long you expect the job to take. ------------ ###Pinned weekly threads for "What software" and a monthly thread for "Feedback" are at the top. Posts about these subjects will be deleted otherwise. ------------------- ###Other rules: If you want to post a job, we expect you to quote some sort of pay - hourly, daily, weekly etc. Or how long you expect the job to take. Create a tutorial? Great - Tuesdays only; start it as "[Tutorial] NAME OF SOFTWARE" ------------------- Pro editor? *(do you have clients?)* Try /r/Editors If you're working for pay professionally, you should be posting in /r/Editors If you're working with RED, finishing via Resolve? /r/Editors If you're editing for yourself, and it's a hobby? /r/VideoEditing is probably the right place. ------------- ##Related Communities: * /r/EditLines — Want to see what a Professional's timeline looks like? * /r/Videography — A subreddit more about the production side of making videos, that is working with cameras, microphones, lighting, and so forth * /r/AfterEffects — Specializing in motion graphics * /r/VFX — Reddit's own special effects subreddit * /r/Filmmakers — A more generalize filmmaking subreddit * Crime? /r/RBI - Reddit Bureau of Investigation (best place to get a crime solved) Great post on Why snow/confetti ruin YouTube Quality.
  17. posting guidelines #Before You Post: ##Read the rules and guidelines in the side bar! ### Post your video in the monthly FEEDBACK THREAD. ### Post "What software should I use" in the weekly THREAD. If you are posting about a technical problem please include your system specifications, including your CPU, amount of RAM, Operating System and version, Storage configuration, the Origin of your videos and the format of the video (file type, codecs, resolution, frame rate, bitrate, etc.). If relevant please include any export or rendering settings that you are using. There's no such thing as too much information. If you're doing this professionally, have clients, want to talk about 4k workflows, color grading - this isn't the right place to post. That's /r/editors. If you're editing for yourself? Then go ahead and press post!

Keep the required computer and client running for active work. Community rules, account restrictions and your client's permission prompts still apply.

What if it is not for me?

Does this guarantee customers?

No. The demo proves that the tools can publish a post and reply. Results depend on your offer, the conversations available and how people respond. See our recorded runs.
