What this page is
This page quotes r/psytrance's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/psytrance's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
No ticket resales or begging
Do not try to buy, sell, or attempt to get free tickets here. Please check the festival's FAQs and use their official resale platform. Scammers target resales, we recommend researching common ticket scams to stay safe.
Substance Policy
We promote harm minimisation. Posts about substances will be allowed as long as they are on topic to the psytrance culture and community, and also remain within Reddit's site-wide rules. Any attempts to buy or sell will result in a permanent ban.
What its rules say about AI and bots
No bots (unless approved)
Please report any comments that you suspect are posted by a bot or inorganic actor. Message the mod team to get approval.
No low quality AI submissions
AI may be used to a degree in music production and psychedelic art, however lazy or low quality use of AI will be removed at the discretion of the mod team.

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
