What its rules say about promotion
No Spam
- Sharing your business, products, or services is allowed only if it adds genuine value to the discussion. - Repeated unsolicited promotion will result in removal.
Stay On Topic
- Posts and discussions should focus on topics relevant to small businesses in the UAE and GCC region. - Examples include business strategies, challenges, legal advice, marketing tips, and resources.
No businesses outside the UAE
* If you are posting about your business and the product is clearly not based and/or selling in the UAE your post will be removed. There are many other subs for international SMB discussions.
No indirect selling/astroturfing
If you are freelancing, offering a business service, etc. The post will be removed unless you: * Mention your company name/product/etc. CLEARLY in the post title and body. * Mention your portfolio/socials/etc. if you're freelancing or an individual offering services to businesses. While we are supportive of any and all types of businesses, we do this to protect the community.
What its rules say about AI and bots
A.I Slop or bot behaviour
* No AI slop or bots allowed, you can rewrite your post with AI, that's fine, but be sure to add value.

* We have a Wednesday Weekly thread where you can post about freelancing services/agency/etc. please use that instead of a post so we can keep discussions focused on SMBs.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
