The Golden Rules for Self-Promo: Provide genuine value or technical details in the post body. Actively reply to questions in the comment section. Do not post the exact same link repeatedly. If you only use this sub as a free ad space without participating in the community, your content will be filtered

Absolute zero tolerance for deepfakes or real people
Do not post AI-generated images, chatbots, or prompts targeted at real living individuals, celebrities, or public figures. Any attempt to generate non-consensual imagery or impersonate real people results in an immediate permanent ban and a report to admins
Mainstream and local AI are both welcome
Don't gatekeep the tech. Posts about ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Character.ai, local models (Ollama, LM Studio), and SillyTavern are all valid here. If it involves AI conversation, prompting, or companions, it belongs in the lounge

Debate the tech, not the person. Flame wars, personal insults, or toxic gatekeeping won't be tolerated. It doesn't matter if someone is using a basic ChatGPT prompt or self-hosting a massive local LLM cluster treat everyone in the lounge with respect - Always mark NSFW content appropriately
Mature discussions, uncensored roleplay setups, and spicy prompts are allowed, but anything explicit, suggestive, or NSFW must be tagged properly using the Reddit NSFW flag. Un-tagged adult content will be removed on sight. - Absolute zero tolerance for deepfakes or real people

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
